Ravens coordinators and OL coach Dwayne Ledford will be talking to reporters before today's practice. Here is a Ravens' recap from Wednesday: --Acquired C Cam Jurgens via trade from the Eagles --Placed TE Durham Smythe (Achilles) on injured reserve --Signed TE Nick Vannett to the active roster from the practice squad --Signed FB Lucas Scott to the practice squad

Ravens starting center Jovaughn Gwyn (fractured fibula) is expected to miss two to three months, per @JFowlerESPN. With backup center Ethan Pocic (knee) also injured, rookie first-round pick Vega Ioane is preparing to make his first start at center. But Ravens also had three offensive linemen in for tryouts yesterday.

While WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) and LT Ronnie Stanley (toe) returned to practice Friday, both did very little during media viewing portion of practice. Flowers stood and spoke to teammates and coaches. He did not do any running during media viewing. Stanley stretched with the other linemen but he was not wearing a helmet. If Stanley can’t go, Baltimore would turn to Carson Vinson, who was a fifth-round pick from a year ago. It would mark Vinson’s first career start.

The Ravens players have begun a four-day break. They return Tuesday to start their game-week preparation for the Sept. 13 season opener at Indianapolis. Ravens coach Jesse Minter was pleased with how the players worked this past week before getting their time off. "I think it is a major week for teams — and some teams have their eyes on the break, and some teams have their eyes on what they are trying to accomplish, and these guys have stayed really focused this week," Minter said.
