Anyone here have one of the new Toro UTX carts in gas? Just did a demo and it is way more golf course friendly than the JD XUV’s we had. Wasn’t sure if anyone has put some serious hours on it yet… any feedback is greatly appreciated. I was shocked on how quiet the gas model was.
The TF agronomy staff is ready to get the 77th US Junior Amateur underway tomorrow and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone in this picture plus our entire crew. We worked our tails off in preparation and cannot wait to host the best Jr Amateurs in the world tomorrow!

The good people of golf:
Matthew Watkins Monday Q’d for the Mexico Open this week. It was his first ever attempt at a Monday.
Watkins doesn’t come from money and didn’t have any help to get to Mexico. So some guys came together at his club and raised some money for him.
A member of the club is going to caddie for him. And another member of the club told him to put the logo of his company on his shirt and he would pay him.
A pga tour members agent who knew Matthew through some connections got him into Mondays pro-am (the Monday Q was played a week prior) so that Watkins could get paid for that. (Some events have Monday pro-ams and players get paid for it).
Just awesome to see the golf community support players. From everything I’ve heard, he’s an awesome kid, with a ton of talent.
He teed off in his first ever pga tour sanctioned event of any kind later this afternoon.
The logo is the company that helped Watkins.
Just awesome.

Why are people so concerned with making the game attractive to non-golfers?
Let’s make it attractive to its core audience - the people who love it for what it’s always been- and stop worrying about what people who don’t like it think.
They like other stuff, and that’s fine. Stop worrying about what they think about golf!
