Medicaid keeps low-income veterans from becoming uninsured, and honors veterans who have complex health needs with consistent access to affordable care. Adults with disabilities receive support through Medicaid to cover health care costs (which are not covered by Social Security) so that they may work, attend school and live in their communities. #MedicaidMatters
