APC has lowered the bar terribly.
- The president no longer addresses the nation directly, doesn't take interviews or media chat, doesn't attend presidential debates
- Forgery ruled out as disqualification grounds for contesting elections
- President goes to visit victims of banditry and killings but couldn't get to the actual village due to bad roads and other appointments. Mourning families were made to go meet him at the airport
- No public bidding for projects. The president just awards to whoever he wants (read Chagoury)
- Judiciary and Senate are singing "on your mandate we shall stand"
- State social media handles now used to attack former governor
- Now he's working remotely from France
The list goes on. How low can we really go before we say it's enough?

I took a one week break from twitter to do some undercover findings.
I am warning you all that our biggest headache in Nigeria as far as the 2027 election is concerned is INEC.
While some of you are busy planning on how to defend your votes at the polling units and collation centres, some persons are planning on how to rig the election from the comfort of their offices without stress or witnesses.
This is not a joking matter, i know what i am saying. They are rolling out different tools and patterns geared towards this.
From the unknown AI tools they have secretly integrating into the electoral process through their newly setup AI unit under their ICT department, to some unknown technicalities and possible glitches that will suit their purpose.
To counter INEC and their inside evil plans, the three major political parties and candidates should be allowed to have at least 2 representatives in INEC, nominated by the presidential candidates themselves to monitor the process leading to the election directly, and the election properly from the confines of INEC Headquarters.
I challenge INEC, if they are not hiding anything, or not up to something fishy, they should allow the candidates to nominate representatives to monitor all their activities from the inside.
Due to some challenges and limitation as an independent journalist, i have to let this investigation slide. But i will keep monitoring from afar.
I call on Nigerians with capacity and the conventional media outfits to do more digging into my claims. They will be surprised with what they will unravel.

Have you seen the wave of attacks against anyone attempting to campaign for Asiwaju in the North? Most of his banners & posters have been taken down, the North is not smiling at all.
Arewa influencers & content creators have foreclosed on the party (even before the referee could blow the whistle). They have continued to decimate & damage the APC & its chances in the core North, hence the TikTok disruptions & restrictions. You would be lucky to come out alive in Kebbi, Taraba, or Katsina if you tried campaigning for the Janjaweeds.
Twitter is awash with videos of mass rejections.
The APC is now ‘restricting’ access to TikTok in Northern Nigeria, rather than implementing an outright ban. The 'Janjaweeds' are facing a wave of mass rejection in the North, & they want to quickly manage the situation before word gets out. This has triggered mass hysteria; the fear & contagion in APC camp is palpable.
The access restriction is a ‘careless’ breach of the people’s Constitutional right to freedom of expression & association. Their access to TikTok must be restored IMMEDIATELY!!!

Sources: Tinubu moves return trip after last-minute change in plans
President Bola Tinubu has postponed his return to Nigeria after a last-minute change to his travel plans, sources have told TheCable.
Tinubu was expected back in the country this weekend. The reason for the last-minute change was not known as of Sunday morning.

Nigeria’s total public debt hits N166.79 trillion, rises by N7.44 trillion in three months
Nigeria’s total public debt stock has risen to N166.79 trillion as of June 30, 2026, up from N159.35 trillion recorded as of March 31, 2026, according to the Debt Management Office (DMO).
The latest figures showed that domestic debt accounted for N91.59 trillion, representing 54.91% of the country’s total debt portfolio, while the total debt stood at $120.93 billion in US dollar terms.
The dollar-denominated figure comprises $54.52 billion in external debt and $66.41 billion in domestic debt. The DMO said it converted the external debt stock using the Central Bank of Nigeria’s official exchange rate of N1,379.1842/$ as of June 30, 2026.
The Federal Government remains the dominant borrower, accounting for about N152.77 trillion of the total debt, while states and the Federal Capital Territory accounted for approximately N14.01 trillion.
According to the DMO, the Federal Government’s external debt stood at N65.77 trillion, representing 39.44% of the total public debt, while states and the FCT accounted for N9.42 trillion, or 5.65%.
On the domestic side, the FGN owed N87 trillion, representing 52.16% of the total debt, while states and the FCT accounted for N4.59 trillion, or 2.75%.
FGN bonds remained the largest component of the Federal Government’s domestic debt, with an outstanding value of N64.84 trillion, representing 74.53% of its domestic debt.
The latest figures also showed that Nigerian Treasury Bills stood at N19.48 trillion, while FGN Sukuk amounted to N1.19 trillion and savings bonds stood at N122.45 billion.
The DMO data further showed that Nigeria’s public debt has increased significantly from N87.38 trillion recorded as of June 30, 2023, shortly after President Bola Tinubu assumed office.
External debt rose from $42.49 billion in December 2023 to $51.86 billion by December 2025, while domestic debt increased from N59.1 trillion to N89.4 trillion within the same period.
