My dad was shot and stabbed at his school today in New Mexico. He's a teacher, thankfully the only victim. He's stable, apparently complaining his back hurt.

Men who rape in college are excused by deans who raped when they were in college. The men graduate and become lawyers who rape before moving up in the ranks to become judges who give rapists light sentences or time served.

🚨 15-year-old stood over a 9-year-old girl on a Homestead school bus and rained punches on her head while she tried to cover up.
Her 10-year-old brother got beaten trying to protect her.
Mom had already WARNED Coconut Palm K-8 about the bullying. School shrugged.
Principal even told her they were “overwhelmed” and she should pull her kids.
School cop’s first move? A civil citation. A slap on the wrist for beating a third-grader.
Public outrage exploded. Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle overrode it: the citation was “incompatible with the level of violence.” Criminal battery charges followed.
Soft policies almost let a violent bully walk. Only cameras and furious parents forced real charges.
This is why parents don’t trust the system.

The photos are mismatched. The injured girl is Bella Willoughby from a 2018 dog attack in Alberta, Canada—not the 2023 Homestead bus victim. The bus beating of a 9-year-old (by a 15-year-old) did occur; initial citation was upgraded to battery charges.

Just watched an obese ~45 y/o man tell his petite Slavic rent-a-date that he only uses Flintstones toothpaste because he’s “sending plaque and tartar back to the Stone Age.” Rent-a-Date simply didn’t know what to do with this information and they sat in complete silence for a solid minute afterward. Not entirely sure what I just witnessed, had all the characteristics of a dream. Third or fourth most deeply surreal moment of my life.

Rather than discredit another woman (“it probably didn’t happen this way”), I would be more inclined to think that policies were not followed. This was a small regional carrier operating as a United flight.
As a lawyer, if I had a penny for every time corporate policies and procedures were not followed, I would be a wealthy woman.
