On my last day as the Special Rapporteur, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported/engaged with me. It's been an immense honour being able to work alongside dedicated individuals & organisations, and I hope I have been able to support their work.
It's been a productive week in Geneva. It was wonderful being able to say thanks & good bye to wonderful colleagues in person as I finish my mandate shortly.

I am gravely concerned by the heightened risk of deaths, serious injuries & contemporary forms of #slavery among migrant workers during the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the #MiddleEast. Both sending & receiving States share equal responsibility to protect them.

It was an honour giving a speech at a session on the worst forms of child labour this morning. I also joined a panel on child exploitation in digital environments which was very insightful with distinguished pannellists.
It was a very productive and informative first day at the 6th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour in Marrakech 🇲🇦. I had the pleasure of participating in a side event organised by @Alliance8_7 to celebrate its 10th birthday.
