Ghost has come out of stealth with a $3,499 computer called Core, designed to run models locally to power AI agents and keep personal data on the device. $11m seed round. The founder notes that “You can run models on existing hardware, but it’s a terrible experience on many levels." I concur. But lots of heavy hitters are working to address that. Watch this space.
