What are people using to organise meetings/appointments nowadays? My brain is going to Calendly and Doodlepoll but I have no idea what's good out there...
I just realised I moderate my language more on LinkedIn than I do in nearly any other situation. Getting old is odd and oddly specific.
Hey! I just moved to New York City. Anyone know any good meetups, tech events or good people looking for a Software Engineer around here? 😁

So much useful details. I'm going through all the DMs and details - thank you! A few data points on companies that pay, and how they go about this:

"I decided to look for a new job last month.
Now that I've started taking interviews, I hear layoffs everywhere.

There's a lot of news about companies laying off or doing hiring freezes. Having talked with recruiters in private, there are still many more companies growing & hiring though.
Drop your company's name and a link to jobs site below if you're actively hiring in tech. 👇

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I just reopened Twitter for the first time in a while and was like...”oh, yeah I like this” 🤷♀️

I don't know who needs to hear this, but your goal as a senior dev/manager/mentor/basically anyone who's been on the team longer than a more junior dev is to HELP THE OTHER PERSON SUCCEED. And that means answering all their questions, so that they can understand more!
Did my first company-wide tech presentation in way over a year today. Was terrifying but super fun to be speaking to an audience again. If you haven’t done any public speaking for a while, if you feel like you might want to, I’d encourage you to get back on it 🙂
Amazing first week at @unmindhq! Absolute onboarding pros, excellent docs and the sweetest people. Feel very lucky and excited to start making an impact ✊
Little news: This week I’m leaving theatre and my darlings at @ATGTICKETS...and this Monday I’m off to join the wonderful folks at @unmindhq to help support good mental health ✊ 🙂

When @DasSurma asks, you gotta deliver..!
Messed around with the Facemesh @TensorFlow model and some calculation of vector magnitude to build a thing where you can zoom in/out with your eyebrows 🤨
I learnt that I can't lift my right eyebrow by itself... 😂
Heartily recommend online Pictionary, booze and a hangout/video call with too many friends - feel a world better right now 😁
Every time I go to reuse a component, I still feel a thud of @csswizardry slapping me* on the back of the head at a course telling me to focus on visual characteristics rather than data. It's been way over 3 years since that course 🤣
