Everyone wants to know why housing became unaffordable so quickly. Low rates and migration played a role, but there’s another factor we barely discuss: the government dumped nearly $800 billion into PPP, and only 23–34% meaningfully reached workers.
Missouri has had ample time to fix this, and they haven't. They fix what they want to, which is why it's important to vote YES on 6.
Jefferson City politicians backed by gambling companies sold Missourians a bill of goods. Buried in the fine print were tax breaks for those same companies. Now Amendment 6 would make those breaks harder to change.
Those companies have already benefited from the deal. Passing Amendment 6 would give them another layer of protection, making it harder for Missouri to revisit the tax breaks they’re collecting. There’s no good reason to give them that advantage.
Missouri isn’t for sale. Vote NO on 6 and tell billionaires to keep their paws off our laws.
Help us make sure voters know what’s in the fine print. Share this ad, and visit moprotects.org to learn more and consider contributing to the fight against Amendment 6. #NoOn6
The Vatican's position on the death penalty has been the same since the mid-90s. Not sure why people are calling Pope Leo "woke".

Hi Nick, I greatly respect you. You are a fighter for life. Thank you for sharing your perspective.
I don’t think those who support the death penalty are themselves personally inhumane and did not say that in my post. I think the death penalty itself is inhumane in a nation where we can effectively secure violent offenders and prevent them from harming others.
The ancient Israelites did not have the prisons we have today, which made the death penalty acceptable under those circumstances, as a means of protecting the public from the criminal. But the Bible doesn’t mandate the death penalty for modern America. Today we have the ability to imprison violent offenders for life. Taking their lives is unnecessary to protect the common good.
Whether the death penalty is justified does not depend on the degree of confidence in a criminal’s guilt. In the modern world, the death penalty is unjust even for those we know are guilty. A crime, even a horrific crime, does not erase the criminal’s humanity.
We have a duty to protect the public and to protect the innocent. But vengeance is the Lord’s alone.
There is also a separate concern that I find compelling: entrusting the government—with all its capacity for overreach, corruption, bias, and human error—with the ultimate and irreversible power to take the life of one of its citizens. Our government has made terrible mistakes, and you have been a stalwart critic of government overreach and corruption. In my view, the most conservative position would be to say that, in modern America, the State should not wield the irreversible power of execution when it can protect society through life imprisonment instead.
Replying to @LilaGraceRose
The Israelites had less technology and fewer processes available at the time of the writing of Leviticus and yet God still saw fit to institute the death penalty.
One can have concerns about process without declaring those who support the death penalty to be inhumane.
Evidently this Avon lady should lead the Catholic Church. Not the guy that was hand picked by cardinals that have studied the bible their entire lives.
This goes against Christianity.

I remember a bill to end puppy mills in Missouri was passed by the people in 2010. The Missouri legislature gutted it a year later and now Missouri has 1/3 of the nations puppy mills. Amendment 6 would have stopped them. Vote yes.
Theo Von doesn’t get near the respect he deserves. He’s a good human being.
Friends, it was a delight to sit down with @TheoVon for an episode of “This Past Weekend.”
We had a wide-ranging discussion about the Catholic faith in today’s culture, finding purpose in an increasingly artificial world, and the connection between faith and love.
I invite you to watch our conversation below.

I notice certain right-leaning Catholics who always complain about Pope Leo ("Why does he always talk about immigration and war and never abortion or euthanasia!!") are awful quiet after Pope Leo spent this whole trip to France talking repeatedly about abortion and euthanasia.
Seeing Paris Hilton at the VMAs lets me know they’ve aged with me. Does Gen Z not follow music or awards shows like we did?

“The American Catholics will now flood the world with their soft power, to the detriment of both Muslim spiritual hegemony in Western Europe and the Zionist lobby.”

Pope Leo XIV comforted the French Catholic nun attacked in Jerusalem on April 28, greeting her at Notre-Dame in Paris on September 25 — nearly five months after the assault.

Many people are rediscovering the Gospel and embracing the faith against the backdrop of a society marked by a deeply secularized culture. With pastoral tenderness and fraternal charity, we must recognize, welcome, and protect the small flame that the Holy Spirit has kindled in the darkness of the night. #ApostolicJourney #France vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…
Whatever you believe, it’s hard not to appreciate the beauty of Pope Leo in France. A country that helped shape Christianity in Europe still turning out by the thousands to welcome a pope in 2026. There’s something hopeful about that.
Hoskins and Hanaway should resign.
