This is the most incredible thing that can happen in the crypto world, when one person is able to bring together thousands of people from all over the world and create an entire army, the $ANSEM cult πποΈ
Cherish this with all your hearts, friends π₯

Impressive progress in 2 months. BOAR in particular feels closest to the actual vision - adaptive local routing + on-device RAG that stays fully offline after the initial model pull. The quantum-resistant signatures example and source verification layer already look more useful than most βlocal LLM wrappersβ
The travel/vegan restaurant eval is still the honest weak point (local knowledge packs + geospatial indexing are the obvious next bottleneck). If they ship a tight Wikipedia + OSM + user-docs pack that actually works on a mid-range phone in airplane mode, this stops being a demo and becomes infrastructure
The fact that the community already tokenized the excitement around the exact app you highlighted ($boar on Base) is very on-brand for 2026

20 million users are already here. Another 10 million by 2027 is not a fantasy from the Finance Ministry. It follows from the fact that Russia already has one of the largest crypto communities in the world, and that community is still growing
Deputy Finance Minister Ivan Chebeskov estimates that about 20 million people in Russia use crypto, with total holdings around 3.7 trillion rubles. This is not a gray fringe. It is a mass market that lived for years without a proper legal framework
That framework is now in place
What actually changed:
On 1 September 2026, the law on digital currencies and digital rights came into force. Exchanges, brokers, depositories and exchangers move under Bank of Russia licensing
Mining is legalized and registered
Crypto is recognized as property, with court protection for holders
Digital currencies are allowed for foreign-trade settlements
The Moscow Exchange already lists crypto futures. On 22 September it launches perpetual contracts on $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $XRP and $TRX
The digital ruble is being rolled out in parallel
This is not Russia suddenly falling in love with Bitcoin. It is an attempt to pull a huge volume out of the shadows, give investors legal clarity, and keep the technology stack inside the country. The constraints remain strict: domestic crypto payments are banned, non-qualified investors face a 300,000-ruble annual cap per intermediary, and the list of admitted assets is narrow. The direction is still clear: regulation instead of prohibition
After Binance left in 2023, the market did not die. CommEX shut down quickly. Users moved to other platforms. Russian traffic on global exchanges stayed massive
Demand never disappeared. It simply lived without a flagship venue that had world-class liquidity, product and compliance.
So the question is not rhetorical
@cz_binance @Binance
What specifically would need to happen for Binance to consider returning to Russia through licensed infrastructure: a separate legal entity, local custody, operations strictly inside the new law and international sanctions?
Is there any real probability of that in 2027β2028, or is the market closed for good under the compliance logic of 2023?
20 million users, a growing community, and legal certainty for the first time. This is no longer a gray zone. It is a market that major players either ignore or eventually have to reassess
π·πΊ Russia already has 20M crypto users. The Finance Ministry just said another 10M by 2027
Thatβs not hopium. Thatβs one of the fattest communities on the planet still growing
Law went live Sept 1:β¨licensed exchanges and brokers, mining legal, crypto = property with court protection, cross-border settlements allowed
Tomorrow MOEX lists perps on $BTC $ETH $SOL $XRP $TRX
This isnβt Russia suddenly turning maxi
This is the state dragging a massive gray market into the light and keeping the stack inside the country
Binance left in 2023. CommEX died fast. Users just moved. Volume never left
@cz_binance @Binance
Whatβs the actual checklist for a licensed Russian entity in 2027β28? Separate legal wrapper, local custody, ops strictly inside the new law and sanctions?
30M users + legal rails for the first time. This isnβt a gray zone anymore. Either you keep ignoring it or you eventually have to reprice the market
@MedvedevRussia @MedvedevRussiaE What do you think about that, Dmitry?

Strong tweet. A low bar - and thatβs exactly why it lands
AI is a capability technology. It amplifies action, speed, and scale. Thatβs why humanity is racing toward it: the upside is visible now, while the tail risks are delayed and poorly modeled. Blockchain is a constraint technology. It doesnβt make us smarter and it doesnβt print GDP out of thin air. It does something else: it locks in rules, reduces the need to trust intermediaries, provides verifiable accounting, and lets value move without permission
βIt wonβt destroy usβ sounds like a joke, but thereβs a hard truth in it. Blockchain almost never creates an existential risk by itself. It can produce scams, volatility, regulatory wars, and bad UX. It does not create a superintelligence that optimizes a goal past humanity. These are different classes of technology: one concentrates agency, the other distributes it and makes it transparent
The irony of 2026 is that the two classes are already converging. AI agents need a native currency that can be programmed, split, sent 24/7, and used without asking a bank. Thatβs why CZβs point about crypto as rails for AI agents is stronger than the βlow barβ joke. If agents start paying at scale for compute, data, and APIs, blockchain stops being an alternative financial religion and becomes the settlement layer of a machine economy
Then the bar has to rise. βWonβt destroy usβ is a good starting point. Next we need primitives that can withstand not only humans, but autonomous agents: permission limits, access revocation, transparent issuance rules, and resilience to market manipulation and protocol-level attacks
Question for @cz_binance if crypto is the native currency for AI agents, which layer do you see as the weakest right now - wallets and identity, on-chain permissions, or tokenization of real-world assets, without which agents have little meaningful to trade beyond memecoins?

NYSE is building the rails to move ~$40 trillion of U.S. stocks and ETFs onchain
Parent company ICE has spent roughly a year testing Avalanche with Ava Labs
This is not a press-release partnership
It is infrastructure due diligence
The stack is forming:
β’ Securitize as digital transfer agent
β’ tZERO as design partner
β’ Banks (BNY, Citi) on tokenized deposits for clearing
β’ Avalanche among the chains being stress-tested for performance, wallets, interoperability, and compliance
This is how TradFi actually adopts crypto: quietly, for years, then all at once
@avax @Securitize @tZERO
Caveats that serious accounts should keep:
No final blockchain choice
No launch date
SEC approval still required
Issuers may be able to object to tokenized versions of their securities
The signal is still large: the operator of the NYSE is treating public blockchains as settlement infrastructure for cash equities
