Shocking:
An eye witness and survivor in Rafah said that the Israeli soldiers put a group of men in a sand pit before executing them.

My interview
EXCLUSIVE interview from Gaza with Palestinian poet and writer Mosab Abu Toha

Listen to me speak here. I start at 9:20
We’ve been here before: rockets, retaliation, civilians killed.
Where we haven’t been before is the unrest within Israel.
What will it take for this flare-up to end, and does the street violence pose an existential threat to Israel?

One of the very few survivors in an Israeli purposeful attack on civilians in Gaza.#BlackoutinGaza
Hello!
I’m a child who happened to be born in Gaza.
If you were in my place, what would you be doing?
Will you be smiling like me?
I have not yet known I’m the only
survivor in my family.

"Israel targeted a group of civilians... 9 of them were killed.. 6 of [them] were children"
Gazan @TohaMosab on what he's seen recently. Israel denies targeting civilians and says Hamas fires indiscriminately.

A Pushcart Prize for my essay in Consequence. Alas it comes as my friend, the poet Mosab Abu Toha, tries to comfort his children as their neighborhood is bombed by Netanyahu with American bombs. The very thing I wrote about. Tonight Gaza = Guernica. #Gaza #WarCrimes

“We know that we are all going to die one day but we don’t want to die under the rubble of our own houses.”
Writer Mosab Abu Toha spoke to @cathynewman from his home in Gaza about the escalating violence in the region.
