Perp DEX @papertrade_xyz reports an eye-catching $906.8B in cumulative notional volume.
On 11 and 12 October 2026 alone, it added $315.6B, roughly 25x Hyperliquid’s derivatives notional over the same period.
The scale extends beyond turnover.
- OI peaked at $10.06B in the available hourly snapshots
- Cumulative liquidated-position notional reached $28.20B
- The protocol has recorded 17,351 funded accounts
Those trading outcomes also feed the PAPER economy.
Eligible realized trading losses mint PAPER, while PnL fees and LP surplus fund USDC staking rewards. Reported cumulative rewards have reached $31.40M.
Trading activity, PAPER issuance and USDC rewards are linked. That makes the sustainability of the reward flow as important to track as the headline volume.
