Let’s start calling the debt ceiling exactly what it is: paying Donald Trump’s bills. It’s not allowing for new spending, it’s paying for much of what Trump and @SpeakerMcCarthy recently spent.

This is appalling. The Dane County Executive claims to be a conservationist and is refusing to do the right thing where there is known contamination from human made, carcinogenic chemicals. Time to take responsibility, not hide behind frivolous lawsuits. madison.com/news/local/govt-…

YES. We can go back to the 14th amendment to bar him from running for office again. Congress must pass legislation-by a simple majority-to determine that Trump has violated the 14th amendment. thenation.com/article/politi…

I owned a restaurant in Kalamazoo MI. I paid a living wage and my folks had health insurance. People couldn't understand why I had cooks that had stayed with the place for decades. You earn loyalty by paying folks what they are worth.

The argument for low wages is essentially the same as the argument for slave labor: “If I have to pay for labor, I can’t sustain my business.” Well, your success shouldn’t be predicated on someone else’s misery.

$15 minimum. End indentured servitude.
I am a tavern owner in Portland. Wages went from $11 to $14 over the last couple years. $15 next year. Our prices raised 10% IF THAT and our staff and customers have spending money. IT IS FINE. Don’t speak for me when you say small businesses will struggle. WE ARE NOT.
Breaking up is hard to do....
