For the record, I noticed an ad features "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy" by Ohio Express. I love that song unironically. It rocks. Don't care if the lyrics are inane. Bubblegum music isn't supposed to be intellectual.
There’s a Chicago Bears-themed Hallmark movie? On one hand, that sounds absolutely hideous. On the other hand, it might be so bad it’s hilarious.
Fox graphics are horrid. Many examples they missed cited by fans.
When they showed a graphic showing longest WS droughts, my Pirates fan daughter expressed relief they weren’t on the list. I then said, “Wait, why AREN’T they on the list?” They’ve waited since 1979. Sloppy.
Thanks Gary! Hope you’re well.

Congrats! You have been a strong supporter of the Brewers for many years. Enjoy the WS.
I feel you, brother. I just ran around like an idiot, but on reflection, I can’t help but think of family and friends who didn’t get to see this. That’s what gets me emotional as I’m sure it does for all of us from Wisconsin.
The ‘82 Brewers will always be my team. They gave me great memories. That said, it’s long past time for another Brewers team to join them in the pennant-winning pantheon. 1982 was great, but also became a millstone. Happy the younger generations get their own team to savor.

I hope car horns are honking in Milwaukee. That’s one abiding memory I have of the pennant clincher in ‘82 besides being at the game itself. Went on deep into the night.
I know these trophy celebrations are kind of rote, but I am so happy for owner Mark Attanasio. His purchase of the Brewers completely changed the fortunes of the franchise. Believe me, in 2005, this seemed impossible. He made it possible. Well deserved.
I’ve always said I wanted the Brewers to make a World Series before I die. Problem is this game might kill me before it can possibly happen. Nothing easy in this beast.
You’d never know it from Fox’s broadcast, but 16,000-plus are watching this at Miller Park. Did they out-draw the Dodgers tonight? Just kidding. Sorta.
