This is the liberal playbook. Blame the other side for everything you have done. Donald Trump has been targeted by the establishment political class since he came down the escalators more than a decade ago.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

I’ve seen Travis Tritt perform @ChoctawCasinos in the past. 1. If you get a chance to see Travis Tritt in concert, I highly recommend it. 2. If you get a chance to visit the beautiful Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma, I highly recommend it.
First show back on tour @ChoctawCasinos in Durant, OK was like putting on a comfortable pair of old jeans. Everything felt great and the crowd was incredible! Thanks for having us back!

Your profile says “just a girl with Wi-Fi and opinions” Exactly what problems are you solving?
Before praising the flying Tesla, ask yourself what problem it actually solves.

You’ll have to take your grievances up with God. I’m sure your ancestors fought against cars, electricity, and indoor plumbing too. Planet Earth isn’t a playground with equal guaranteed outcomes.
I don’t want flying cars or folding iPhones or data centers. I want an end to mass shootings, healthcare for all, free and fair elections, a government free from Christian nationalism, and our planet and people to be cared for.

If you would’ve said 10 years ago that Nick Saban was going to be on TV with Pat McAfee having a great time, people would’ve said you’re nuts. Great entertainment all the way around.

Psst! Brian Krassenstein wears women’s underwear. Pass it on.
Hey @grok is it true or false that Trump allies are holding discussions about declaring martial law to seize ballots in the midterms? Answer True or false only. Then provide details of what this would mean for our democracy.

Kaylub is a HERO - he saved the lives of many more young children with his heroism. Many men in his situation would not have done what he did. This man should be celebrated in perpetuity.
JUST IN: The heroic bystander who took down a 16-year-old gunman during a deadly Oregon elementary school shooting has been identified as 36-year-old Kaylub Giamanco. Giamanco, whose two daughters attend Silver Rail Elementary School, saw the suspect shoot at a truck before blasting through the glass panes of the school’s double doors to get inside. Police say the teenager entered a classroom and fired as many as 15 rounds. Giamanco grabbed a legally owned .40-caliber pistol from his car and rushed into the building, following the sounds of gunfire. When he reached the classroom, he found the suspect struggling with a teacher who had thrown her cellphone at the gunman and tackled him. Giamanco then shot him multiple times, ending the attack. Three children and a teacher were killed, while two others were injured. New details are emerging about the father’s actions and what his family says about the tragedy: foxnews.com/us/hero-dad-took… | @foxandfriends

“parking lot and garage owners across New York City - don’t rent to ICE” Mamdani is an absolute disaster for New York City. Everyday prices are skyrocketing and many successful business leaders are pulling their money from the city. History will not be kind to this socialistic lunatic.
More than 100 elected officials have joined me in calling on parking lot and garage owners across New York City: Don’t give ICE a place to operate. Don’t rent to them. Tell them they’re not welcome. Last week, ICE agents shot Oscar Belgal in the neck in Marble Hill while his 5-year-old son sat in the car. They had been staging nearby in a private parking lot. Our city laws keep ICE off public property. Now, we’re calling on private property owners to do the same. One garage on Morton Street already removed ICE vehicles after neighbors spoke out. Every owner has that power.

Uh oh. I sense another multimillion dollar out of state marketing contract is on the horizon. Sadly, our state government inexplicably hires marketing companies outside the state of South Dakota — paying them millions of dollars.

He says no Muslim country has ever launched a world war. I’m not sure what your definition of war is — but deploying terrorists all over the world to kill innocent people certainly qualifies as war in my mind.
No Muslim country has ever dropped a nuclear bomb. No Muslim country has ever launched a world war. Still, Islam is branded the violent religion.

55% of South Dakota households have at least one firearm. 9th highest percentage in the Country. I would have guessed the percentage would be higher than that.
United States gun-ownership per State: This graph is brought to you by AllegedlyDrew. In my opinion, Arizona, Utah, and Texas are slacking!!! We need to get to the gun stores!

You sound like Hillary Clinton. Who’s in charge of changing the tax codes? You are one of them you narcissistic clown. Hillary Clinton famously in the 2016 election tried to belittle Donald Trump for using the tax code to take a $900 million write off. Donald wisely remarked and asked ‘why don’t you change the tax code Hillary’? Why? Because your big donors use the same tax advantage as I do. Any smart businessman will use every tax advantage legally available, it’s smart business. If you don’t like it, change the damn laws.
Meta is reportedly calling its massive data centers "experimental" to claim a research tax credit. Try telling the IRS your kitchen renovation was a science project. Or your new car was a lab experiment. That's a rigged tax code.

I would like to nominate Dacotah Bank Stadium, which is home to the Northern State University Wolves in Aberdeen SD. It certainly isn’t the largest, but it is a beautiful stadium. The best part is, it is nestled right in to a residential neighborhood. Very cool place.
These #D2FB stadiums are worth the trip. 🏟️ Which venue are you adding to your bucket list?👇 📄 Learn about all 🔟 on.ncaa.com/D2FBstadiums #MakeItYours

I will happily defend beer 🍺 Ordinarily, I would prefer a Diet Coke. However, just when you’re done mowing the yard on a hot summer day, it is damn hard to beat an ice cold beer. In Zuckerberg‘s defense, Guinness is kind of terrible. It’s more like drinking sludge.
Unpopular opinion; No one - literally not a soul - actually enjoys the taste of beer. Not a single human. Those who claim to enjoy beer, don’t actually. It’s really just a social ritual, a form of self deception… the impact of decades of stacked marketing to convince you that beer is anything but an alcohol delivery mechanism. You can enjoy getting sloshed. You can enjoy the social liberation that alcohol offers. You can enjoy the party. But don’t act like you actually like the taste of beer. You don’t. You might think you do. But you don’t. Because it tastes like it looks: bitter dehydrated piss, with bubbles. In the case of Guinness, like diarrhea, with bubbles. And you know it.
