Beautiful new study of CAR-T therapy targeted at prostate cancer cells, enhanced with carboplatin to hit the TME. Combination cancer therapies targeting tumour + TME are for sure the way forward.
4. Carboplatin altered the TME by modifying cancer-associated fibroblast #CAF phenotype, enhancing #ECM degradation and re-orienting M1 #macrophage differentiation, thereby enhancing T cell trafficking and retention in the tumor mass
