In-context imitation learning helps robots adapt to new tasks from just a few demonstrations. But existing approaches only condition on state–action trajectories. They don’t model why those actions are taken or what the high-level task objective is. This limits the performance in complex and ambiguous settings, where the same actions may correspond to different task intents. 💡Inspired by the advancements of CoT prompting in LLMs/VLMs, we introduce ICLR: In-Context Imitation Learning with Visual Reasoning, a simple yet effective method that incorporates visual reasoning into robotic in-context imitation learning, guiding the learning process beyond surface-level in-context action imitation.

the pace of research now is wild. supermimic came out 3 days ago. no code release. now there are already derivative works with full code. it’s hard not to feel the pressure to always move faster.
One world, one policy. MorphMimic shares a morphology-conditioned world model and policy across #Unitree G1, #AgiBot X2 Ultra, and #Booster T2—from the same dance in MuJoCo to a live browser demo and Unitree G1 hardware, with more to come. Code and report at lzyang2000.github.io/morphmi… Huge thanks to the SuperMimic team for the inspiration!

A million hours of what? If we’re scaling human demonstrations for robot learning, what should each hour contain? We built S1, our skill capture glove, alongside our robot hand to record joint movements that map to robot targets, with touch and video on the same timeline.

We found a way to scale humanoid control that reduces GPU-hours by more than 1000×. Across 129,514 motions, SuperMimic surpasses the state of the art (128 GPUs, 7 days) with 1 GPU in 3 hours. Project: supermimic.github.io Demo: supermimic.github.io/demo/

This is insanely impressive.
(1/6) From @GoogleDeepmind’s AlphaGo to AlphaZero, we saw machines find moves that reached beyond what we’d imagined for them. No one taught them those strategies. They emerged from reinforcement learning: playing, failing, and trying again under a single binary task reward for success or failure. Inspired by them, we couldn’t help but wonder: what might a robot discover if we gave it that same freedom to learn? That question led us to AlphaNIST. Starting tabula rasa, with that same binary reward plus only a simple control cost, a single policy solves all 20 @NIST assembly tasks at a 98.2% success rate in simulation. More surprising still, AlphaNIST can complete 10 different tasks in a row, receiving that reward only once, after all 10 are done. Just as AlphaGo’s strategies surprised its creators, AlphaNIST discovered dexterous strategies we couldn’t have come up with ourselves. Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2610.13354 Website: alpha-nist.github.io

Today we give Atlas dexterous hands, with the strength to take on real work, and the simplicity for mass manufacturing. Like the body, the hands are designed with high fidelity simulation in mind, to enable sim-to-real RL. If you give dexterous hands to a robot, make them do dexterous things. We are releasing Dyna-2.1, the first Physical Agent that achieves reliable super long-horizon whole-body autonomy. It combines our brand-new semi-humanoid hardware with an agentic system built around Dyna-2 to handle ultra-long real-world workflows. Here is an uncut footage of Dyna-2.1 completing an entire hour-long laundry room workflow, just like a human does.

After so many demos, models, pilots, robots are still struggling to land real deployments with real customers. Until now. Today we’re excited to share that our robots have successfully crossed the ROI threshold, and Din Tai Fung, one of the highest revenue per location restaurant chain in the US, is rolling out Dyna robots across its extensive restaurant network. This brings our rollouts across hotels, logistics, data centers, and many other use cases to a fleet that reaches hundreds of robots by the first half of 2027. And we’re just getting started. It’s been a wild year, and today we’re double clicking on the battlefield stories and sharing a few learnings about scaling robot deployments. We are just scratching the surface. Cool! What’s next? Multimodal prompting for better human intent comprehension? For example, how can users specify their preferences more naturally, and how can the robot better understand them? Like for the egg-frying task, what if the user wants duck eggs instead of chicken eggs, or prefers the eggs to be fried fairly runny rather than fully cooked?
Introducing S1, our new foundation model that learns from one example. It can be taught 10-minute long tasks that it has never seen before, from one video prompt without any fine-tuning. Watch S1 operate in real-time via in-context learning:

Take a minute to watch this video; it's a cool one. This is not some AI generated video; this is the actual robot the Grip founders built, sorting real trash, at 1x speed.
Grip builds intelligent robots that pick the trash existing sorting machines can't. Robotic manipulation just started working. Foundation models can now grasp the deformable, entangled, never-before-seen objects that waste streams are full of, on hardware that's finally cheap enough to make the economics work. We install modular robotic cells and every pick makes the whole fleet smarter. We start with plastic contamination in organic waste, then expand to every stream where machines still leave the hard objects to humans. Grip is becoming the general manipulation platform for global waste infrastructure. Founded by robotics engineers from ETH Zürich. Backed by Y Combinator (S26).
