You should grow your hair out, @BrashDelinquent.

Well, I have been watching a lot of— {Oh. That was sarcasm, wasn't it? He's going to have keep working on the humor thing.} The Girl on The Train. It's a mystery. I saw the movie once, I thought I'd see how it compares to the book. {Not that Cas remembered the movie, but shh.}
Rolls his eyes. "When did you grow a sense of humour?" With that, he slumps on the couch, and picks up the book Cas had, snooping at the cover. "What'cha readin'?" Obviously he would /not/ like an army of demons, pissed at Cas, storming the place.
The only trouble I see is you. {It was an attempt at teasing. A smile was on his lips and he set the book aside, giving Dean his full attention.} If you give me a few minutes, I'm sure I could annoy enough demons and angels to keep you busy for a few weeks.
"I mean, trouble usually finds us." Normal was boring. This is why he could never give up the hunting life.
Are you looking for trouble, Dean? {Cas raised a sardonic brow at the hunter. He was not usually one to seek out a new end of the world event.}
"Huh..." shrugs. It was still too quiet. And when did they last have a case? "Nothin' feel off to you, Cas? Like. It's too calm? Too... /normal/?"
Not that I'm aware of. {Closing the book, he gave Dean his full attention and a find smile.} Hello, Dean.
Peeks in, after searching the whole place for any sign of life. "There you are. Did I miss another apocalypse or somethin'?"
{He's not Sam, but Castiel happens to be around. In the library, quietly reading a lore book for no other reason than it was on the table.}
Please do.
Still waiting for Betty. And hatching a plan to kill the blue bird.
Mains needed. Except Cas (will still write/banter with others but I have my main angel)

Castiel is certainly around. He's been splitting his time between looking for Dean and moping endlessly. He's currently deep into a mope phase, mindlessly watching a TV show that's not at all realistic based on his experience on earth, yet it still manages to make him emotional.
Are you currently in pain? I could- {He was already leaning in, fingers in Dean's personal space to press to his forehead.}
Opens his mouth. Closes it again for a second. "Not gonna disagree. Kinda hurts."
It would be better if you didn't die at all.
"Wouldn't be the first time. Or the last. I hope."
I was concerned. I thought you died.
{Appears on @BrashDelinquent's lap, seemingly out of thin air.} Hello, Dean.
No, but a conversation forced out of an awkward situation and fueled by alcohol can't bring anything good. {It wasn't what either of them expected to deal with tonight, but here they were.} Do you want to watch a movie? {Avoidance. A lot of it. That's what they needed.}
Twisting their cap off his beer, he tosses it on the counter and takes a second, taking a long pull before finally looking up at the seraph. He was right. Dean knew it. Cas knew it. “No, I suppose you’re right. But we shouldn’t ignore it forever, right?” Dean, being sensible?
{Dean seemed upset by his statement, when in reality he was simply trying to give the hunter what he wanted. Now what? Castiel had no idea.} Do you want to have this conversation tonight? I'm not sure either of us is prepared...
The hunter watched him chug the whole beer, not even touching his own but just staring. He really shouldn’t be surprised, but yet he still is. He also expects it to be leading up to something, but... “Oh. Right, uh, sure. I guess.” Shrugs it off, gaze dropping to the floor.
{He took the offered beer, opened the top, and proceeded to chug the entire thing before speaking. Castiel would need more than what Dean had in the fridge and hidden in the garage to get him drunk.} Can we do that thing you do with every other situation and not talk about it?
“So why now?” Dean sighed, walking into the kitchen and getting a beer from the fridge, gesturing to offer one to Cas, too. “Yeah... you’re tellin’ me. Listen, Cas I-“ Breathe, “I’m almost as confused as you. I’ve never... and you’re,” How does he even put it into words?
It didn't come up. {No explanation. No excuses. No apologies, just... no.} Human emotions are extremely complicated, Dean. {For example, this situation exactly.}
“Cas, c’mon, please. I know, okay? It’s /my/ head, of course I know.” What does he do? He’s been dodging this for months, toying with it, but ultimately pushing it away. But apparently Cas —always knew... “Wait... Why didn’t you say anything sooner?”
Hat down, cross town, livin' like a rockstar Spent a lot of money on my brand new guitar Baby's got a habit, diamond rings and Fendi sports bras Ridin' down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car Got no stress, I've been through all that I'm like a Marlboro man so I kick on back
Do you know how long it's been since you've thought of anyone else, Dean? I have to assume months. It's extremely invasive. {He has no idea what to do with this information. Physically it's all new to him. He's looking everywhere but at Dean right now.}
“Then... I don’t know,” Wait. Is he... “Cas! Get outta my head.” Pinches the bridge of his nose, refusing to look at the seraph. Now he can’t even /fix/ it later, because he’ll know. Not fair.
{He's listening to Old Town Road.}
