I was owing two months rent so I started greeting my landlady extra. Every morning I would sweep the compound before she woke up and carry her dustbin out. One evening she called me and said "My son is travelling tomorrow. Come and help him carry his bags to the park at 5am." I set my alarm. At 4:50am I was already outside. Her son came out with one small Ghana-must-go and said "My mummy is still sleeping. Let us go."
