Great care on ward 8 for Isaac tonight @LancsHospitals particularly from Ellie and Billy, unfortunately he’s staying in overnight but their warmth towards a complex little guy was brilliant
It’s carers week #CarersWeek2023 #CarersWeek #carers. My twins are 12, and Ethan loves nothing more than making Isaac laugh. Ethan doesn’t see himself as a young carer, but having support that is accessible to him when hr might want support is crucial.

We have had 2 nights of hospice respite since May 2 and next due any in April 22. As Parent carers, me working 45+ hours a week (and my wife on a huge £60 p/wk for full time care of Isaac) we’re somehow expected not to break under the strain - unrealistic. #disability #carers

Great care from @LancsHospitals Ward 8 for Isaac on his stay with a chest infection this week, really impressive pre-admission info link up from PAU to A+E after we rang PAU for advice which saved time. The renovation work on the ward is great too, barely recognised ward 8C!
