“But if your mask works why do you care if I wear a mask” is the same as “but if you seat belt works why do you care if I drive drunk”

We really tried to get @sflecce to understand why it was so important to #FreeTheRATs and allow systematic asymptomatic screening in all Ontario schools. He ignored us for months then finally conceded. All families should be able to help keep themselves safe. #onted #onpoli

I'd still like to hear about this @sobeys. What possible reason could you have to double the price?

I saw this sign at a theatre today too. What the heck @CineplexMovies. Not impressed. You can believe my Respirator stayed put. I wasn't even asked frankly - this sign is going to do nothing but piss off those remaining people who want to wear a mask in peace. Do better.
Yep! Took this pic 2 weeks ago getting take-out. Very weird flex @CineplexMovies

As a clinical health psychologist, I notice that many people are using psychological defense mechanisms to downplay the risk of COVID. These are my Top 7 examples: 🧵

Here's a lovely image for you all as schools hold assemblies and people attend work parties, shop in packed malls, and gather indoors with family without protection from airborne diseases.

When COVID-19 surfaced in 2020, the medical field missed something, and it cost lives. Airborne viruses can travel much further than originally thought. To curb infection, we should have focused on indoor air systems. @DrLaPook reports, Sunday. 60Minutes.com

All dentists bought HEPA filters. Why not require they use them? They've already purchased the machines. They just have to pay for the filters and keep them on. It's a simple measure that keeps staff and patients safe. What's the problem with clean air? 🤷‍♀️. #CovidIsntOver /2 – at Toronto, Ontario

@rcdso_org I just learned that all Covid measures for dentist have been removed. rcdso.org/standards-guidelin… Why? Covid can result in debilitating illness for people who are high risk and long Covid for anyone. People must remove their mask to get care. Even if high risk. /1 – at Toronto, Ontario
