Yesterday, I formally announced my candidacy for re-election to represent the fightin' 64th Assembly District. I pledged to continue to work every day to ensure opportunity for WI's working families to live safely & thrive in our economy.
Voting absentee in the City of Kenosha is fun, easy, and essential for our democracy. For those of us on the north side, the Northside Library's Ballot Box is now up and running for your convenience!
Proud and grateful to have received the endorsement of Kenosha Professional Firefighters Local 414! Looking forward to continuing to work closely with them to ensure strong protections for all our first responders.
I am shocked & horrified by what we saw tonight. In our city, a man was shot in the back 7 times by police. We don't the full details at this time, but I have contacted the Attorney General’s office this evening, & I am requesting an immediate investigation.
My thoughts are with Jacob Blake as we all pray for his recovery. The status quo is unacceptable. Our community, our state, & our nation must take action to fundamentally change the systems and policies that time after time put black lives at risk.
