Donald Trump spent much of the last year of his presidency trying to ban TikTok. Here’s what he said on July 31, 2020: "As far as TikTok is concerned, we're banning them from the United States."
Trump today: “Just so everyone knows…Biden is responsible for banning TikTok.”
Why did Trump flip-flopped on TikTok? Trump recently met with Jeff Yass, a megadonor with a $33 billion stake in TikTok.
A few days later, Trump announced he changed his mind and he’s now against a TikTok ban. Yass is also the biggest institutional shareholder of the shell company that recently merged with Trump’s social media company.

Still can’t get over the fact that Republicans insisted on pairing foreign aid with border security… GOT EXACTLY WHAT THEY ASKED FOR… only to then KILL IT because Trump told them to… and ended up passing only foreign aid anyway.
Masterful gambit, Republicans. Well done.

I’m urging all governors to pardon prior state offenses of simple possession of marijuana.
No one should be in a federal prison solely due to the possession of marijuana, and no one should be in a local jail or state prison for that reason, either.

Wow. Trump routinely at the top of his rallies remarks about high winds and bad weather (even when it's fine) and then quips about demanding his pilot land regardless. It's meant to be a sign of his devotion. The energy of this move is different. Some might say ... it's low.

BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Bennie Thompson introduces the "DISGRACED" bill to strip Secret Service protection from any former executive convicted of a felony — enraging MAGA world for obvious reasons.
This is a stroke of genius...
The historic new bill is designed to alleviate some thorny complications if Donald Trump ends up behind bars. If this legislation passes, it means that Secret Service will not have to station agents inside of Trump's prison cell.
Entitled "Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act," the bill is clearly aimed at Trump.
"Unfortunately, current law doesn’t anticipate how Secret Service protection would impact the felony prison sentence of a protectee — even a former President," said Thompson.
"It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality," he continued. "Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment — and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them."
Thompson's team went into greater detail—
"This bill would remove the potential for conflicting lines of authority within prisons and allow judges to weigh the sentencing of individuals without having to factor in the logistical concerns of convicts with Secret Service protection," they explained.
This is what justice looks like. American taxpayers shouldn't be paying for the protection of a convicted, treasonous former president.

Hey kids!
After 50 your life becomes nothing but endless days of cleaning out the garage, figuring out whether to keep that particular empty box because, you know, it's a REALLY good box, and trying to figure out what to have for dinner.
Adulting sucks.
Enjoy!🙂
