After more than eight years with The Anniston Star, I’ve turned the page on one chapter and started a new one.
I’ve resigned from my position at The Star and, next week, I begin classes to pursue a master’s degree in Communication at Auburn University.

Alex McPherson's winning field goal was #Auburn's first walk off field goal since 2012 in OT against ULM.
It was the first time that field goal went through the uprights as the clock ran out in regulation since the national championship game against Oregon in the 2010 season.

Alex Golesh after Auburn's massive upset of Georgia said his son asked him Thursday if he can get on the field "after we win." Golesh then hugged his son and said, "we're on the field."
An emotional Golesh adds, "we're going to build Auburn back to where everybody wants it."
