Do they control cloture?
There have been 290 cloture motions in the Senate in less than 2 years. Which is more than half of the number in all 8 years of Obama.
So you are actively blocking legislation and then blaming the other guys for not getting things done.

I am fine with a tax shift. I'm okay with the amount I pay in taxes. But I want to someday actually own my home and not effectively rent it from the government, who can raise my rent at anytime based on something that I cannot control

I feel like the message will differ.

10% in a single day would make my eyebrows go up. But they don't suspend trading for the rest of the day until a stock drops by 20%.

Mr. Secretary, or whomever monitors this account, can you please fix the issue with having to wait years to get our records.

I think it is pretty cool but if I had to guess about people who truly care about this I would probably go with:
Scientists, Engineers, and Mathematicians from every discipline in those fields.
Also, the kids who just learned that impossible things can sometimes become real.

So, they realized that someone they hired wasn't right for the roll and let that person go.
And you think that is a flex for you?

So you probably really appreciate the fact that the thrusters are compressed air and not some sore of gas that can polute the environment.
