As St. Patrick’s Day celebrations begin, we remind everyone to plan ahead for a safe ride home.
🌈 Luck is great, but planning is best. Line up your sober ride before the celebration starts.
Driving while buzzed is still impaired driving.
🍀 Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.
You may notice our Police Department monthly reports look a little different.
We’ve updated the format to include data from previous months so it’s easier to see trends and better showcase what’s happening over time.

Of all the things the most worry me while wearing my @kshighwaypatrol uniform, it’s being hit by a passing motorist...
I’ve had my Trooper hat blown off my head from a passing motorist far too often.
Always #MoveOver for first responders.
My family begs you.

It is with a broken heart that we have to share with all of you that earlier today we lost one of our own. While on a call for service in North Sacramento, Officer Tara O’Sullivan was shot and killed. She gave her young life while protecting our community

throughout the Denver-Metro area agreed it was best to exercise extreme caution & close schools for the day. Though PSD is not in the Metro Denver area, we decided to close out of an abundance of caution & with the utmost concern for safety & well-being of our students and staff
