Allow me to speak truth.
Listen, those who peddle rage bait only care about their version of their truth.
If other facts are presented that disprove their statements they often reframe the conversation or distract.
It’s highly intentional. They want to force people to make statements and infer that silence is guilt.
If statements are made they are dissected. Usually by them saying “look at what they didn’t say…”
Ultimately this is not the way of the Spirit. You cannot walk in the first love and great commandment and be drunk in this activity.
Over the weekend @MikeWingerii made a false statement about the White House Faith Office & Paula White. Fortunately several confronted his false & accusatory statements.
He should delete the post & @alisa_childers should retract her post.
Where would we be without President Trump? I am thankful Paula led a prayer meeting in Trump tower in 2011 that was the genesis of so much we see now.
There are real issues at stake globally. Personal opinions of other leaders is not the issue of our day worth fighting.
Get involved in your church.
Pray for your pastor.
Fast & pray.
Share the Gospel.
It is time to rise.
It's long, but this is worth a read to understand what pastors are frequently up against in 2026.
It is very difficult when people share false accusations of pastors or paint untrue pictures of you on their public platforms. Sadly, now this happens so frequently and at such a scale, it is literally impossible to respond to them, or you would never get anything accomplished for the kingdom.
For instance...
- I just finished a podcast last month specifically warning *against* people who call themselves Apostles (in the Big-A, New Testament office sense). I believe and have publicly said I believe the *opposite* of a NAR view that there are new Apostles and warned people against it.
- I just finished two days of prayer and evaluation with the elders of Lakepointe, seeking their wisdom and direction for the church together as a group of elders on prayer retreat. On those retreats, I *ask them* to evaluate every aspect of the church in a SWOT and *invite* wisdom.
- There have *definitely* been times when they encouraged me in a different direction than I was going or I "lost a vote" and (gladly, because they are wise and good men) went with the Spirit-guided wisdom of the elders.
- There is an elder specifically assigned to me for an even deeper level of prayer and discipleship at an even more personal level, and it's one of the great blessings of my life.
- Every summer I request elders to tell me things I should "keep doing, start doing, and stop doing" and tell them very directly I value their candor and need their honesty.
Etc. And I talk about this publicly in sermons, podcasts, etc. All of this is the exact opposite of the picture insinuated in the OP.
But someone can take a 90-second clip from a podcast whose *only* focus was how pastors can prepare their churches for online mobs (that do inevitably come), make it sound like that counsel is the *totality* of your thoughts about eldership, interpret your words in the worst possible light, and make it sound like you're a deranged "NAR" guy.

*I won't be responding to replies, as I have a church to pastor that is getting ready to baptize and disciple ~600-700 new believers this coming weekend... which is made harder by things like this.

Gossip & Unforgiveness might be the two greatest sins in the church.
Perhaps they are the most overlooked.

On podcast with @landonschott @mercyculture today. Had a great time. We all see how God has breathed on his ministry. It’s really special. He’s opening a new campus in DC. So exciting.
But, something that not everyone sees is that no matter where he is, he is always RIGHT THERE: present.
Present at the White House. Ministry? Present. Dinner? Present. Talking to a stranger? Present. Wherever he is, that’s where he is. That’s a gift.
He isn’t just present. He’s also a bold Gospel preacher. Unafraid. Unashamed. Unembarrassed.
God is raising up preachers like Pastor Landon who believes the God is who He says He is and He will do what He said He would do.
That and many other other small things are some of the reasons he’s been blessed on some of the greater things. He’s a great pastor. These are are some of the great reasons.

No one has the spiritual authority to drop a video attacking a dozen leaders at once.
