Update on field conditions in Central Nebraska. 4" of frozen soil from 9-13" holding up the moisture above it. Not quite ready for soil sampling yet but should have a nice moisture profile going into early spring.

Agtech summit was good but the trip home from Des Moines to Kearney has turned into quite the adventure.

Can confirm! After pulling millions of cores last fall and this fall across the state, Soilview samplers could have drawn this map pretty accurately. Most of the state went pretty well but from Harvard up to Aurora and moving Northeast past York it was a battle below 6".

Hung with Aurora Coop drone pilots spraying fungicide today. They built a platform to keep line of sight but usually watch the remote screen. Drones spray fields near organic crops, towns or airports. Pit stops take 1min to refill and swap the battery. This 70ac field took 1hr.

What is your deal Grand Island? This seems to be the case over and over this year. Precip falls apart right at Grand Island. Hamilton County subsoil moisture needs a serious recharge.
