Governor, we’ve been through this already. If you want to regulate federal agents, you have to win a federal election. Until then, you have no jurisdiction.
Accordingly, I have advised DHS to disregard your bill attempting to ban safe and effective less-lethal tools that agents need to escalate dangerous situations.

It is disturbing how much these ingrates hate the citizens yet love illegal alien, murderers, rapist and child molestors. Abolish the democrat party!
The Governor just signed my bill to allow people to sue ICE, Border Patrol, and other federal agents for violating people’s constitutional rights. Starting immediately, people can sue federal agents retroactive to abuse occurring in March 2025. I was the first state lawmaker in the country to introduce such a bill, and it’s now law. The era of impunity is ending.
It’s currently nearly impossible to sue federal agents, due to an awful Supreme Court ruling a few years ago. States have the ability to authorize these lawsuits by providing that people can sue officials and agents at all levels of government equally — local and state officials can already be sued so federal officials will now be treated the same. That’s what the No Kings Act, SB 747, does.
We’re reinstating the rule of law. We’re creating real accountability. No one — not Trump, not ICE, no one — is above the law.

The men arrested for terrorism related charges at RAF Fairford in the UK have been released.
The more information that comes out on this potential attack (i.e. the farmer that called police initially said way more than 5 men were involved, why would 5 men be required to detonate 3 VBIEDs, etc...) the more questions there are.
