I drove to Kitchener-Waterloo for the weekend and slept on the floor of Randy's hotel room. On Saturday, Randy asked me to follow Ray Floyd around Westmount and to help gather quotes for his story.

Must read du jour.
This tweet lands as I'm enjoying Timmy's book on Canada's gold medal men's hockey win at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics.
Twenty-two years ago today, Canadian golf legend Moe Norman died in his hometown of Kitchener, Ont.
We’re revisiting our three-part tribute to Norman, beginning with @TimWharnsby's reflection on the friendship he formed with his fellow Kitchener native.

Manitoba’s @A_Cockerill is T6, three shots off the lead, after 36 holes of this week’s @DPWorldTour event in Spain. Last week, after a missed cut in Türkiye, he foreshadowed better play ahead in an interview with SG contributor @TimWharnsby.

Thanks to @A_Cockerill for sharing his valuable time at #TurkishAirlinesOpen last week and a shutout to all the wonderful people at @TurkishAirlines — Cockerill upbeat despite sluggish start to DP World Tour season scoregolf.com/news-story/coc…
Followed France’s Martin Couvra & UK-fave Andrew (Beef) Johnston for 9 holes at #TurishAirlinesOpen on Sunday. Couvra and Spain’s Angel Ayora are considered the next young stars on @DPWorldTour But it was Swede Mikael Lindberg who survived a damp & difficult back 9 for the win.
They could have turned the lights on at #TurkishAirlinesOpen, which is the case with last four holes at @nationalgolftr. Canadian golfer @A_Cockerill was in the final threesome. He gave it the old college try but missed the cut by a shot after leaving 20-and-14 ft birdies short.
A wonderful day following @A_Cockerill of Stony Mountain, MB at the fantastic @nationalgolftr for the @DPWorldTour’s #TurkishAirlinesOpen. Aaron exhibited plenty of Canadian grit to overcome a tough start to finish at 1-over.
Forty years ago today, the late Dan Halldorson played some of the best golf of his career in winning what is now known as the Sanderson Farms Championship with a two-shot win over Paul Azinger. Unfortunately, dapper Dan was overshadowed by some guy named Nicklaus at the Masters.
Way to go Gabe Perreault #NYR. Your Pops, Yanic, scored three against the @DetroitRedWings on Halloween 1997 and you matched him this afternoon.
St. Thomas, ON caddy @tblittle99 returns to @PGATOUR winner's circle with emotional @TCHouOpen victory by @GaryWoodland, two weeks before 23rd anniversary of Butchie's @TheMasters win with @mweirsy. Little was with Woodland for 2019 U.S Open victory.
The great Nate Schnarr of Waterloo will play for Canada at the Spengler Cup in Davos over the holidays.
