I believe every illegal should be deported. No exceptions.
The border sealed shut, and all foreign workers deported until there are zero unemployed Americans or homeless Americans.

America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating.
Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground.
The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves.
It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors.
Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence.
True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over.
Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market.
We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.

I read the testimony of one of the first responders who saw the murdered Clancy children. Cora and Dawson were blue. It takes a long time to strangle someone to death. It takes 8-10 minutes of sustained force. Five-year-old Cora had blood on her hand, and blood coming from her nose and mouth.
I am disgusted by anyone who thinks Lindsay was unaware of what she was doing. She is a trained nurse. She did this to each and every child. She was past the postpartum period medically. This was first-degree murder and pure evil. Stop blaming her doctors and her husband and everyone but the monster who perpetrated these crimes. Her children suffered horribly. They are the victims.
The prosecution only has to prove she knew what she was doing. They proved it beyond a reasonable doubt. She meticulously planned this and sent her husband out of the house, just long enough. She knew the timeline. Like I said. She is a very experienced and trained nurse who had researched strangulation. If you have more sympathy for the defendant than for the victims, you are not human. Get professional help. You need it.

Here is a list of things I think AI should be able to solve before it's dangerous enough to kill everyone:
1) all forms of entitlement fraud - this should be easily fixable by tracking payments and cash flows. Find where money goes in but no services are rendered. Child's play for an all-knowing AI.
2) elderly scam farms - fixed with telephony tracking, payment tracking, find the scammers, empty their bank accounts, sabotage their remote access strategies
3) narcotics trafficking - more money flow, disrupt crypto conduits, track chemicals being used for narcotic synthesis, disrupt those avenues of commerce
Compared to "the extinction of all humanity", these are very simple problems to tackle. These problems are a thousand times simpler than killing every person in the world
If you don't believe that AI can fix these narrowly banded issues, if you're immediately looking for reasons that I'm stupid an naive for thinking AI can solve these problems in the next 2 years, you have no business believing that AI can destroy all humans by the end of the decade.

The state has more than met its burden of proof. It has demonstrated beyond even the smallest fraction of doubt that:
1) She killed her kids intentionally.
2) She was methodical, systematic, and determined while killing her kids.
3) She engaged in premeditation and planning before killing her kids.
4) She clearly demonstrated both before and after the crime that she knew it was wrong to harm her children.
The first point should be enough to send her away forever. The second seals the deal. The third and the fourth remove even the faintest hints of any lingering doubts that the most gullible person might have.
This is one of the most open and shut murder cases we’ve ever seen.

🚨#BREAKING: A mother is FURIOUS after a Pennsylvania town CRIMINALLY CHARGED her two little girls, ages 10 and 12, and dragged them into court...
...because a playground swing broke while they were spinning on it.
Yes, you read that right.
The two girls twisted the chains to get dizzy, the chain snapped, and the borough's response was CRIMINAL MSCHIEF CHARGES for a 10-year-old.
This is Springdale, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh.
On May 21st, a group of kids were playing at Veterans Memorial Park where two sat on the swing and the others twisted the chains up tight and let go, so the swing would spin them dizzy.
Every one of us did this as a kid... hundreds of times.
The chain broke. Nobody was hurt.
Two weeks later, a POLICE OFFICER showed up at Katie Huss's front door with SURVEILLANCE PHOTOS of the children on a swing.
The borough had split the repair bill among five kids.
$59 dollars each.
Three families paid up and their kids' charges disappeared.
Katie demanded more information:
"Show me the evidence my daughters did this on purpose and show me the swing was even inspected prior to this occuring."
She didn't pay and so her 10 and 12-year-old daughters were CHARGED WITH A CRIME.
Criminal mischief.
BY the way... under Pennsylvania's criminal code, that is a charge that requires INTENT.
The two little girls were terrified and had to sit in a courtroom while a police officer testified against them for "not using the swing properly."
Thankfully, the judge threw it out and found them not guilty.
It was CLEARLY an accident, not a crime.
...you would think it would end there, but it doesn't!!!
The borough is now threatening to sue this mother in CIVIL court over $180.
And Katie still hasn't been allowed to see the video they used against her children, it was shown to the lawyers, but not to the mom.
Nearly every single day, violent repeat offenders WALK OUT OF JAIL ALL THE TIME to prey on innocent people...
...but INSTEAD of dealing with that, we have built a system that lets predators go and prosecutes children for playing AT A PARK USING SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE TO WATCH THEM
