With less than a minute left, a high school team in Ohio subbed in a player with Down's Syndrome, so he could play in the team's final game of the year.

See a ‘Sports Parent’ sitting alone?
There is a reason.
- No drama.
- No negativity.
- No ignorance.
- No complaining.
- No badmouthing coaches or refs.
They just want to enjoy watching their child play.
Be a part of the solution.
Not the problem.

For a school that’s only 3 years old, Jefferson’s had two of the better playoff games I’ve seen, both in the SoDAK 16 round. 2 years ago a double OT win over Lincoln Kienholz & Pierre. Then today. dakotanewsnow.com/2022/03/06…
FINAL: @SFJeffersonBBB forces a Stevens turnover and hits free throws to ice it. They’re off to state with a 63-59 overtime win.

I know a few (or a bunch 👀) of these guys!!
Nice recognition certainly…. BUT please keep in mind that I was a part of exactly zero 0️⃣ college scholarships extended off recruiting rankings.
Have a plan, put in the work, trust your plan, and good things will happen!

Skipping meals, barely drinking 40 oz of H20, going to bed after midnight consecutive days in a row and then using a pre-workout for "energy" as a student-athlete is the equivalent of breaking your leg🩼 but getting a 🤕cast on your arm.🤷♀️
