Tough games for the Cougars tonight at the #CrowchildClassic tonight. We are so proud of the effort and we’ll come back even stronger next time! As always, such a great atmosphere as we support our teams!.

The last Leaders’ Dialogue of the academic year highlighted experiential learning, work-integrated learning, AI, and an update on the G-wing renovation. Thank you to the incredible speakers and @MountRoyalU employees for joining me in the Bella today.

Yesterday’s Crowchild Classic was incredible! Congratulations to @MountRoyalU student Elizabeth for winning the tuition giveaway and high-fives all around to the amazing players - it was a thrill to watch you give it your all on the ice.

I always look forward to having fun with @UCalgary President Ed McCauley as we each cheer for our teams at #CrowchildClassic. Thankfully, @JyotiGondek is here to keep us in line. Go @MRUCougars!

Last week, I hosted a Leaders’ Dialogue on how MRU will live the new strategic plan and work together to achieve each goal. Thank you @chad_london , Meagan Bowler, @moussamagassa , Dr. Connie Van der Byl, Ben Hall, and Phil Warsaba for joining me on stage. ow.ly/KuYI50PYiy3

MRU's new strategic plan, Vision 2030: Opening Minds and Changing Lives, is a roadmap that will guide our growth, adaptability to societal shifts, and attainment of key goals. I’m looking forward to everything ahead for our students, employees, and campus. mru.ca/StrategicPlan

Thank you to the MRU employees who joined me for breakfast this morning. I had a wonderful time catching up with some familiar faces and meeting a few new colleagues for the first time. Can’t wait to host this again in the winter semester.

Today we gathered to recognize the signing of Treaty 7 and raise the Survivors’ Flag to honour residential school survivors. I’m thankful to the Elders, and others in the MRU community, who shared their stories and participated in the ceremony.

Thank you to the Minister of Advanced Education, @RajanJSaw for joining us on campus today. It was an honour to show off our specialized spaces, learn more about the ministry’s mandate, and send you off with a @MRUCougars jersey - you’re welcome to come back for a game!
