Let's just stop and ponder how impressive this really is for Europe: they have created a product that is demonstrably worse than Teams.
The European Commission has rolled out an alternative to Microsoft Teams. But officials using it aren't impressed, with one describing the tool as “absolute shit.” vist.ly/5kje9

Not only are City football cheats, they are tax evaders. More should be made of this. City blatantly broke the rules to give themselves a clear advantage over other teams. This changed careers. Managers were fired because they could not compete with city.
Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC? We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay £12m in tax. There should be a criminal investigation. Thread:

BTW, the UK 10-year gilt yield reached 5.41%. The UK is heading into a debt crisis as well. But hey, why don’t you raise taxes even more on those who still create, innovate and hire, and you add even more people to the no-work-requirement benefits scheme? You know what, why don’t you introduce a wealth tax straight away? Even more entrepreneurs leaving Britain will certainly calm the markets.
As much as I like going to France, this is really eye-opening. France now pays more to borrow for 10 years than anyone else in the eurozone, including Greece and Italy. Markets are pricing a political fact: the second-largest euro economy has postponed its only serious pension reform and still cannot lock in a credible path for public spending. The 2023 law that raised the retirement age from 62 to 64 was frozen until after the 2027 presidential election so a minority government could pass a budget. The overall deficit is heading toward 5.4% of GDP in 2026 and debt toward 119% this year and 122% next. Interest costs are already eating what used to be available for everything else. France sees the ECB as backstop of last resort. That is exactly why the drift is so dangerous. When a core country treats consolidation as optional and does not care about pension arithmetic, spreads widen first, and then the whole euro area’s fiscal credibility is tested. The first euro crisis began in Greece and was about hundreds of billions, the second will begin in France and will be about trillions.

Sheesh, lost most of the rudder during the descent or recovery.
FLYDUBAI 737 MAX MAKES EMERGENCY DESCENT AFTER COCKPIT INCIDENT Flydubai flight FZ1073, operating from Dubai to Tel Aviv on a Boeing 737 MAX 8 (A6-FKF), experienced an incident described as unlawful interference during the flight. The aircraft was cruising at FL340 when it suddenly descended to approximately FL140. ADS-B data indicates the aircraft dropped from around 33,225 ft to 18,925 ft in just 37 seconds — an average descent rate of approximately 23,200 ft/min. The crew subsequently diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, where the aircraft landed safely. Unconfirmed reports claim a physical altercation occurred in the cockpit between the Captain and First Officer, with a pocket knife allegedly involved. These details have not been independently confirmed. Photos taken after landing reportedly show significant damage to the aircraft’s rudder, with large sections appearing to have separated.

Rejoining the EU, refighting the battles of the 80s, letting in more Afghans, expropriating private property. All adds up to the perfect recipe to end a decade of division.

This is interesting. Everyone has heard about countless millionaires and entrepreneurs leaving Britain, so a significant drop in average wealth is not surprising. But a drop in median wealth means most Brits are getting poorer. Britain is on its way to becoming a socialist paradise, the only problem is that under socialism everyone is equally poor, not wealthy.

If Mahmood does water down the ILR reforms, under the Home Office "high case" scenario, 2.2 million migrants will settle, peaking at 620,000 in 2028, dwarfing the current record of 241,192 in 2010. More people could settle in the next 4 years than the whole of 1960 to 1990.

It is not “fair” that the British public are being forced to suffer the social and fiscal costs of the BorisWave. We now need to hear from centre-right parties what they intend to do with migrants who obtain naturalised status before the next GE.
Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary, indicated that she would announce a compromise that would be “fair” to tens of thousands of migrants already in the UK, who face waiting up to a decade longer to be granted indefinite leave to remain Follow the latest ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/09…

I hope you’re all going to get an early night tonight and be well rested for a full 40-60 hour week of grinding, yes? We have to raise £70,000 for the refurbishment of Abu Hamza’s wife’s £1.7m home, that she lives in by herself, in North London. Obviously. Look I don’t make the rules, but this is obviously essential spend and you’re a far right bigot if you disagree. Now, there’s been some chatter that it was going to come out of the £88m Miliband earmarked for **other** terrorists in Gaza, but sadly he already signed the cheque and the money is already cashed in Qatar so we will have to have a whip round for this interior design. Remember - money doesn’t grow on trees guys. So heads down and dig deep this week!
Kate McCann: Taxpayers are to pay £70,000 for the refurbishment of radical cleric Abu Hamza's wife’s home. A £1.7 million pound home and only she lives there. Is that fair? Angela Rayner: I’m not going to get into individual cases. Kate McCann: You’re the Housing Secretary.

More information emerging about the conviction of Del Somerville (jailed for two years for throwing a plastic bottle and telling police officers to 'F**k off' at a protest against the small boats). The court heard that Somerville had played a relatively minor role at the incident, had tried to pull another protester away when he confronted police, actually lived at the marina rather than travelled there for the purpose of protesting, and that the plastic bottle he threw was 'small' or 'empty'. It's impossible, in the context of wider sentencing policy in this country, to avoid the conclusion that the sanction handed down to Somerville amounts to two-tier justice.

It would appear that this DEI appointed judge, of little or no educational or professional achievement, has corrupted the incredibly powerful Westminster Magistrates Court.
🚨NEW: Judge Tan Ikram CBE, the judge who denied Danny Tommo bail and said he was "satisfied there is a real possibility of an immediate custodial sentence", has a history of being placed in politically motivated cases. . Sentenced a man to 20 weeks in jail for posting a racist joke in a WhatsApp chat. . Let off the OnlyFans girl who threw milkshake at Nigel Farage. . Let off two women for terrorism charged after glorifying 7 October massacre. . Was himself given a disciplinary after liking a post on LinkedIn that stated Israel was a terrorist state. Although obviously not a crime, it did bring into question his impartiality. . He was given a CBE by Boris Johnson in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to judicial diversity. He has spoken out about what he sees as the problems due to the lack of ethnic diversity in the police and the judiciary.
