Late February marks our bank holding company annual meeting. Lots to remember about where we started and where we are now. Thankful for the communities we call home and the chance to serve customers across generations. Looking toward a bright future, but where did the time go?

I'm ready for March. Looking forward to presentations for #KBA Ag Bankers Conference and also the #MBA Ag Seminar. Focused learning - lessons from the 1980's farm crisis, proper balance sheet categorization, inflation and trends to monitor.

We are celebrating Christmas with our bank team tonight - thankful all year for the talent they each bring to our bank. PS - if the Wildcats hold on, I just might wear purple.

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for clients, borrowers and colleagues. You make work a joy.

Weekend reading is a staple for me. I'm able to digest detail better and more quickly. Plus, I find I ponder what I'm reading and therefore end up with more application ideas. And, yes, I read in many ways - phone, lap top, printed copies, and books.

Great spending the day at the ABA Ag Conference. Saw many long-time colleagues including Tami Lutzi- Ex. Dir., Ks- Ne Schools of Banking. We appreciate our partnership and I enjoy being on faculty at one of the best Ag Lending schools in the US.
