This Sunday night, a blood moon (total lunar eclipse) will rise over Israel. Earlier this spring, we witnessed a total solar eclipse that turned day into darkness. Both of these happening in the same year won’t occur again until 2028.
When I read Scripture, I can’t help but think of these words:
“The sun shall be turned to darkness,
and the moon to blood,
before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.”
— Joel 2:31
For me, these moments are reminders that God keeps His Word and that history is moving toward His plan. They stir my heart with both urgency and hope—the urgency to live ready, and the hope of Christ’s return.
If you’ve never really thought about what these signs might mean, maybe this is a good time to pause and ask: What if the Bible really is true?
Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary
At the time, I was dubious on the uses of Twitter - mostly I was seeing celebrities post what they had for lunch. But then I found out about the hashtag interactions people were having during live educational technology conferences I was at and I got hooked.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 $𝟭𝟭𝟲𝗠 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲: 𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀
Humane just got acquired by HP for $116 million—a big drop from the $230M they raised from investors. That’s not the kind of exit founders dream about.
Why did their AI Pin flop so hard? 🤔
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱.
Humane wanted to usher in the post-smartphone era, but the problem is… smartphones aren’t going anywhere. People love their iPhones and Androids because they do nearly everything better, faster, and more conveniently than an experimental AI pin can.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗸𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲.
Short battery life made it unreliable.
Limited features meant it couldn’t compete with existing tech.
High cost ($699 + $24/mo subscription) made it a hard sell.
So what’s the lesson for AI wearables?
The market isn’t looking for a half-baked smartphone replacement—it’s looking for a rock-solid tool that solves real problems.
That’s where the Connection.app Com Badge comes in.
𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀.
Instead, we’re replacing outdated walkie-talkies and corporate smartphones—tech that is inefficient, bulky, insecure, and expensive for enterprise use.
𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.
Walkie-talkies are stuck in the past, and corporate smartphones are a security risk, a distraction, and a cost burden. The Com Badge provides hands-free, AI-driven, enterprise-grade communication that works instantly, securely, and efficiently.
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗲.
Humane chased consumer trends without a real use case, and over-estimated what the market wanted. We’re solving real communication challenges for hotels, hospitals, schools, manufacturing, and logistics. These industries don’t need gimmicks—they need better tools.
The future of AI wearables isn’t about replacing smartphones—it’s about replacing the tech that’s actually broken.
That’s why we’re focused on being the best tool for enterprise communication, not trying to “kill” the smartphone.
Humane swung for the fences and struck out. We’re playing a smarter game.

I know what you're wondering today...
How often does the Presidential Inauguration happen on MLK Day?
So you don't have to look it up yourself, it's happened 3 out of 10 times since MLK Day started being observed.
1997 - Clinton's Second Inauguration
2013 - Obama's Second Inauguration
2025 - Trump's Second Inauguration
The next time it will likely happen is in 2053.
You're welcome.

This is difficult to explain outside of the Jesus Christ resurrection story as outlined in a fairly unknown collection of books called the Bible. youtu.be/E89eQ67-59I?si=ZyZx…
Wow. The fact that I knew nothing about this shows how effective the government/media complex has been at controlling the narrative. Absolutely disgusting. youtu.be/jnhwBoFxaDI?si=-k2X…
