Telegram is NOT an "encrypted messenger." It supports end-to-end encryption ONLY if it is turned on (not by default) and ONLY for single-user chats, never for groups the way Signal, WhatsApp and iMessage do by default. I can't believe that this myth persists.

I really don't like code that tells a story. Like that one time my dad went out to the store on the corner. Next to where Mr Daniels used to live. Mr Daniels whose wife worked at the plant. She really loved working there, it was the best place to work in town.

I also liked that they say no data was "lost". I assume they mean they're still in possession rather than it wasn't siphoned out.
