America is a great country. There's a line in the very good film THE LAST BLACK MAN IN SAN FRANCISCO (2019). The lead character is on the bus and hears two young women discussing how they dislike San Francisco. He tells them, "You don't get to hate it, unless you love it." When you love a place, you hate anything that pulls it from its core. If you don't love it, you don't get to 'hate' it. If you don't love America, we don't want to hear what you have to say about America.

Scott Adams: I sacrificed everything, and today it was worth it. @ScottAdamsSays “MAGA supporters, you all took a personal and professional risk for the benefit of the country, and you knew that it was going to cost you dearly. The American Heart Assn. Has Changed 'Normal' Blood Pressure To 110/70...Every Time They Lower The Numbers, Millions Of People Need Drugs. In 1970, Normal BP Was 160/95. In 1985 It Was 140/90. And Now 120/80 Is Considered 'Elevated.' That's Not Medicine. That's $40B Marketing. The bar has been lowered once again & under new guidelines, more Americans meet the criteria for high blood pressure & are pressured to start taking antihypertensive medications. The AHA & ACC (American Heart Association & American College of Cardiology) in August 2025 just released hypertension 'updated' guidelines shifting 10 points lower across all categories in order to make more people diagnosed as hypertensive to prescribe more drugs. 'Normal' is now 110/70 or less. 'Elevated' is now 120/80 & qualifies for blood pressure medications. 'Stage 1 Hypertension' is now 130/80 & qualifies for even greater aggressive medication. Here's why this is not medicine but marketing... The new guidelines are based on results of a large, federally funded study called SPRINT, backed by pharmaceutical giants & stockholders...which found a 25% 'relative risk' reduction in cardiovascular events using a lower blood pressure target. 25% reduction was the 'relative risk reduction' not the 'absolute risk reduction.' Relative risk reduction is useless & misleading, whereas absolute risk reduction is the actual percent helped by an intervention. The absolute reduction in cardiovascular events was only 2% – SPRINT also used an especially high-risk population, so patients with low or average risk for cardiovascular events had 0% benefit or absolute reduction. Is lower blood pressure always better? definitely not... The AHA & ACC assume that a lower blood pressure is always better, but some primary care doctors challenge that doctrine. “Once you get to a certain point, if you lower blood pressure further, your rate of stroke & heart attack increases,” says Dr Andy Lazris, primary care doctor & Right Care Alliance council chair. Doctors are graded on how well they get patients to the new hypertension target. These grades affect doctors’ pay. Dr. Andy Lazris admits, “If I lower my patient’s blood pressure & they fall and break their hip due to the medication causing dizziness & fainting...I still get paid.” “Treating blood pressure with medicine is a risky intervention,” says  Dr. Ronald Adler, associate professor of family medicine & community health at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. “BP medications cause adverse effects such as kidney & electrolyte abnormalities, not to mention the increased risks of complications such as dizziness & falls that inevitably result when BP is lowered too much,” says Adler, “Because the new guidelines suggest that people be treated initially with 2 drugs, such experiences will be even more common.” Side Effects of Blood Pressure Medications: Heart palpitations Fainting Kidney dysfunction Angioedema (swelling of face/tongue) Joint pain Chronic cough Low sodium & potassium Dizziness Headache Dehydration Muscle cramps Gout Insomnia Constipation Tiredness Depression Slow heartbeat Symptoms of asthma Sexual dysfunction Your own unique optimal blood pressure can be obtained thru diet & lifestyle interventions: A whole foods diet consisting of low sugar, no seed oils, no processed foods & including abundant nutrient dense animal sourced foods will normalize blood pressure for you. Prioritizing the minerals Potassium & Magnesium is crucial. Both are involved in the body's Sodium Potassium Pump System. Supporting these important minerals by using unrefined mineral salt & in supplements when needed to heal deficiency will also yield your own normal Blood Pressure. Bioavailable Magnesium needs are at least 600 mg per day & Potassium guidelines are at minimum 4,700 mg per day. Most people do not even get 50% of these minimums, leaving their heart & blood vessels to work harder than our physiology is intended to. Dr Gilbert Welch, Dartmouth professor, "focusing on the number 110/70 not only will involve millions of people but also will involve millions of new prescriptions & millions of dollars." "It distracts doctors & their patients from activities that aren't easily measured by numbers, yet are more important to health — real food, regular movement & finding meaning in life. These matter whatever your blood pressure is." 👇New Guidelines Mean More Hypertension Meds👇 pbs.org/newshour/health/unde… 👇40 Year Blood Pressure Normal Numbers Shift👇 ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/… 👇Higher BP In Older Adults Live Longer👇 evidence.nihr.ac.uk/alert/ne… Speaker: Dr Adam J Story

When Erika Kirk spoke the words on the man who killed her husband: “That man… that young man… I forgive him.”  That moment deeply affected me.  I have struggled for over 60 years to forgive the man who killed my Dad. I will say those words now as I type: “ I forgive the man who killed my father.” Peace be with you all.

A few random observations after the Charlie Kirk memorial service: I wish I was about 30 years younger so I could live for several more decades in the America we are on the cusp of creating. Obviously, things could get derailed. Nothing is guaranteed. But the trajectory we are on is encouraging. The future is bright. The Republicans are stacked with men who would make great Presidents and successors to Trump in carrying forward the MAGA torch. (Vance is my favorite at this point.) More importantly, it is obvious there is a renewed interest in Christian faith, not only as the way of eternal salvation, but as a civilization-building force. This is especially true of young men who have found in Charlie a man worthy of emulation. Obviously not all the speeches were equally great, but many of them were explicitly Christian and proclaimed the gospel. To hear the VP of the United States openly declare that, "It is better to be persecuted for your faith than to deny the kingship of Christ” was quite amazing. Rob McCoy, Frank Turek, and Marco Rubio gave very clear gospel presentations to millions of people. The Secretary of War declared Jesus’ kingship. Tucker Carlson called on everyone to humbly repent of their own sin. Erika Kirk gave amazingly biblical counsel to men (“Be a leader worth following”) and women (“If you are a mother, that is the single most important ministry you have”). She was a model of what a godly wife should be in that situation. Trump Jr. displayed the kind of common sense we need - like the goal of making one income families the norm again and renouncing political violence. It was very impressive and encouraging overall. Maybe the most powerful moment was when Erika Kirk talked about how her husband was trying to reach disaffected, missionless young men, precisely like the one who killed her husband. I know some people will criticize her for forgiving the murderer apart from his repentance. But I think that’s nitpicking. We should be willing to forgive, even if the transaction of forgiveness remains incomplete because the offender will not confess and repent, and she demonstrated that willingness. Also, from the sum total of the speeches, it’s obvious that personal forgiveness and civil justice (in the case the death penalty) are not at all at odds. A murderer can be forgiven while still suffering the consequences of his actions. The use of the sword to bless the righteous and terrorize the wicked is clearly built into the MAGA program at this point. MAGA is all about law and order, and restoring the rule of law in our land. Charlie Kirk’s character and courage were honored. His political convictions were certainly clear in the service. But most importantly, his faith in Jesus was set forth as the center of his life and the key to everything he did. Charlie was honored; but Jesus was honored even more, which is what Charlie would have wanted. Charlie was presented as a Christian who was guided by his faith when he got involved in politics, not someone who instrumentalized his faith for political purposes. The service showed how much a man with a vision and a work ethic can accomplish. It’s astounding to consider how much Charlie transformed our nation in his all too short life. What we witnessed in the memorial service was Christian nationalism in nascent, immature form. Not everyone who spoke was a Christian - and Christian nationalism doesn’t require that. But what we saw is even people who do not share Charlie’s faith in Jesus showing open respect for Christianity. Everyone at the service was operating under the Christian gaze. We cannot make America great again without making America Christian again, which means making America Biblical again. MAGA needs MACA and MABA. Republicans in the past paid lip service to a god - a vague faith that never got defined. In this service, many politicians were explicitly Christian in their faith. It’s a remarkable shift in a very short period of time. Whatever Charlie’s eschatology was, he was a practical postmillennialist. As the left gets more Satanic, the right gets more consistently Christian. The lines are more clearly drawn than ever. The service and the events of the last 10 days clearly demonstrate that. If ever the Christian right, as the Christian right, as a political movement, was going to resort to the kind of anarchic violence we see on the left, this would have been it. The most famous and popular rightwing Christian apologist was murdered in broad daylight. And yet what do we see? No riots. No gunshots. No violence. Instead, we got a massive prayer meeting in a packed stadium, live-streamed to millions more all around the world. And we saw a wife (now a widow) who forgave her husband’s killer. The two sides are not the same. There is no moral equivalence here. Reformed Christians might be tempted to look down on the style of worship and music in the service and the imprecise theology on display. We should resist that temptation. What good is mature theology if you don’t enter the fray and get into the battle? Evangelicals charging the gates of hell with slingshots and BB guns are more effective than Reformed Christians who leave their jet fighters in the hangar and their battleships in the dock. An immature theology combined with courage and a willingness to act will always be more effective than mature theology and worship that never enter the fray. Reformed Christians love to be the Monday Morning Quarterback who criticize the normie evangelicals in the arena, but those who are in the arena are the ones through whom God is working to bring change. Perhaps the most important thing of all is that Charlie Kirk’s legacy was accurately portrayed. Charlie always made clear the cultural, political, and civilizational impact of Christian faith. Charlie was willing to connect the dots in a way that many pastors are not; he linked his faith to his economics, to his convictions about marriage and family, to his views of immigration and nationhood, to his belief in limited government, etc. In other words, he presented the Christian faith as a comprehensive system of truth that works in the real world. He challenged people (especially college students) with a biblical worldview, showing that Christian faith answers coherently and compellingly all the pressing personal *and* political questions of the day. That came through in the memorial service, and for that I am grateful.

I was born a Catholic and have walked this Earth for 54 years. Before dedicating a quarter of a century to Counterterrorism, my first degree was in Philosophy and Theology. But I will say for the record, I have never seen a human being encapsulate in 90 seconds the meaning of Jesus Christ like @SecRubio. Thank you Sir.

I finally got to watch the memorial service for Charlie Kirk. I’m going to tell you why 200,000 people showed up, instead of the 100,000 that was expected, and 100 million people streamed this. Because from this tragedy, people actually went back to watch his talks in entirety. Not just cherry picked sound bites purposely framed out of context. What they learned about him exposed the danger of the sound bite era we live in. I even took some time to do so. The man was not a hateful person at all. He was no racists or White supremest. To my friends who will disagree with me, I challenge you to do the same. I even saw a talk where he dog walked an actual white supremest. I’m not telling you what to feel about the man. What I am saying is to dig a bit deeper. Once you do that, I can respect an educated opinion. Now that I know more, it makes an already tragic situation that much more heartbreaking. We have to do better America

Meet Steve. This is a story of how God is moving! On Sunday, I was in Glendale, Arizona covering the Charlie Kirk Memorial. I went over to TPSUSA Headquarters in Phoenix the night before and on my way back, I was picked up by an Uber driver named Steve. He told me that he grew up Catholic but had walked away from the church. He became an alcoholic and his wife passed away from cancer. A couple years ago. he picked up Charlie Kirk from the airport and they had a great conversation. When Charlie was assassinated, it affected him deeply and he told me that after Charlie’s murder, he dusted off his Bible for the first time in years and started reading it! He also said to me that he was going to go back to church every Sunday! Furthermore, he told me that he planned to take two of his grandsons with him to Charlie’s memorial on Sunday. I then received a text from him during the memorial with this wonderful picture of him and his grandsons with a caption that read, “We made it in.” Pray for Steve and his family as he searches for that personal relationship with Christ. We serve a remarkable God! Thank you Jesus!

I keep hearing that Charlie Kirk’s views are extremist. So I watched 3 hours of his debates. I disagreed with him 4 times, but only because my views were more extreme than his. Once he said pancakes are better than waffles, which is clearly wrong and borderline crazy.

Americans can now be divided into two groups: 1. Those who watched @MrsErikaKirk on Sunday and realize what it means. 2. Those who didn't see it. The divide is less political and more about understanding the current moment for the nation, humanity, and the mysterious capacities of the soul and spirit.

"You see, Charlie looked at politics as an onramp to Jesus. He knew if he could get all of you rowing in the streams of liberty, you’d come to its source. And that’s the Lord." @robmccoyus preaches the clear gospel at Charlie Kirk's Memorial. "For those of you who struggle with the word sin, it's real simple. It's an archer's term where the bullseye is and where the arrow lands. That's called the sin distance, how far you fallen from perfection. And there are none righteous. No not one. We've all missed the mark. The bullseye. And we try to get to God by our efforts. But there is no effort that will bring us back into the presence of the of a righteous God. You see, the wages of sin is death. Charlie knew this, and at an early age he entrust his life to the Savior of the world. Jesus came to this earth, was tempted in all ways, yet was without sin, was crucified upon a cross. His blood was poured out because blood must be shed for the remission of sins, and his death upon that cross was sufficient for all the world sins, but only efficient for those who, like Charlie, would receive him as their Savior. Jesus has come to seek and say that which is lost. And I would say this to all of you. The Lord loves you. He wants to save you. He wants to give you a new life. He wants to cover the multitude of your sins by the blood he shed upon the cross. The Bible says, 'If you believe in your heart, you confess with your tongue that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved,' to the glory of the Father.”
