Liverpool had played twice since Brentford had last played, including a large period with ten men v Man City.
They’d had to travel abroad, then play an away game on the Saturday and lost a player in the first half hour.
In those circumstances, against a good team, they played well (apart like the last 10 mins where they lost their heads a bit!)
