Turn it Off! Watching games with a CircaSurvivor pick in play is rarely a good idea. Unless it’s the last week, nothing good really happens - you can’t win anything, you just don’t lose that day. Had one on Dallas though and thought, “what could go wrong?”. Some people never learn.

SUSPECT IN CUSTODY ? Crocs are a daily part of life here in Puerto Vallarta. They're present all around the rivers that feed into the ocean and here in the Marina. Humans need to be wary of them but dogs are their favorite unauthorized snack. Every year several curious pooches get poached, mostly along the rivers edge. Anytime a problem croc is ID'ed they are captured and taken to a sanctuary a few miles north. I've seen solid apprehensions of crocs before but this one did not go according to plan.

WTF is this? Was plotting the rest of football season inc travel plans and just noticing that Super Bowl LXI falls on Valentines Day! This shapes up to be a real test. Valentines Day brunch or dinner? Very funny. Dinner the night before at a nice restaurant? Sorry babe, cleaning up prop positions during Unabated Super Stream. The next day is Presidents Day. Here's a spot where we really need an executive order to bail the guys out because some type of Valentines Bowl combo is not gonna cut it. Can't wait to see what they do for a halftime show.

For clarity - that is not my list. It is the list to choose from. It has a mix of all types and in locations where access may vary. My list is easy to arrive at based on residence and betting habits. In no particular order - CRIS, Pinnacle, Circa, 4Cast, Poly.

I called Nevada Gaming over a year ago to inquire about the legality of casinos resetting slots that have progressive elements to them. My complaint specifically pointed to machines that had an accumulating equity feature that was not displayed in dollars and cents.

There’s an ongoing discussion as to whether this is happening. It's happening and it's rampant. The supposed loophole is a distinction without a difference. Accumulated player equity in the form of a displayed dollar amount is protected. Accumulated player equity displayed as something other than an actual dollar amount is not.

This needs to be addressed in a regulatory manner. Blackjack players are all to familiar with this type of action. We call it preferential shuffling. Deck favors the house they keep dealing. Deck is loaded with high cards and Aces - time to shuffle. It’s not a perfect analogy, but it’s close.

Modern aviation truly is a "miracle". Been flying a lot lately and it's a steady pct that applies here. A dozen people "need assistance" - get wheeled to the gate and on the plane to depart. Arrival? Only half need help off. Hallelujah! They're healed! Who knew consuming pretzels at altitude had such healing power?

Cheapskate or not? The Vital Vegas post below gets on the player for not tipping on a 100K VP win. Couple problems. Many players and virtually all casino employees think tips should scale to the payout or win. Standard rate is claimed to be 10%. That's casino employee propaganda.

Why did the machine not lock up and require a hand pay? They can set up machines to not lock up but record the taxable event. It’s done to streamline things and minimize downtime. There are machines that play so big, every pay would be a signer. The player signs for it all once.

Bottom line is that this hand never needed any help to get paid. He probably was hopping around from game to game on the same machine. Based on what game he hit the 100K on, they were playing lousy payback stuff. He very well may have got smoked overall.
