Why do City fans genuinely believe that the Premier League has only existed and been loved watched since they started cheating??
The arrogance is next level!
Apparently city have been trying to “give a voice to the voiceless”…
Funny how they were completely silent on this until they were found to be cheating.
You aren’t heroes. Your cheats.
If not double standard explain why Newcastle and Villa can’t freely spend their owners’ money because of FFP, while Man United can borrow billions from banks and still spend.
This is exactly what City are fighting to change, give a voice to the voiceless, build a league where everyone, even Sunderland, can dream of winning it. You see why they don't want city 🤷
Owners’ money is the problem, but borrowing isn’t? Now explain the logic.
The most underused piece of F1 equipment.
They’d rather wait an hour and a half until it’s dry, and then put the best drivers in the world out on inters/slicks.
Completely pointless.
Suggesting that the sponsors are bigger than the sport highlights exactly what is wrong and has been wrong with football for a long time.
If it needs a reset, so be it.
But don’t suggest the Premier League would collapse. That’s just ridiculous.
The first three words just sent me off…

Etihad threatening legal action against the Premier League.
Head honcho at Etihad is the nephew of the owner of Man City.
Nothing to see here… obviously…
Scott’s finally putting his law degree to good use…
So I've read the majority of the 40 page documents and there's more holes in it than a second hand dart board the whole fucking thing is just a mess i fear this will drag on for another 2 years and will only end with a high court ruling in the meantime fans and players will be abused on a daily basis I'm still leaning towards just taking the punishment then we can move forward i appreciate not many feel this way
This is an incredibly long tweet that misses one major thing…
You cheated.

🚨List of everything Manchester city owners have done for Manchester and England.
- Bought Manchester City in 2008 and invested heavily in East Manchester’s regeneration.
- Invested hundreds of millions into the Etihad Campus and surrounding East Manchester.
- Built the £200m City Football Academy on around 80 acres of former industrial land.
Remediated contaminated former industrial land and transformed it into a major sports, education and community campus.
- Created thousands of construction and employment opportunities, with significant work going to local and North West businesses.
-Built facilities supporting Manchester City’s men’s and women’s teams, academy and community programmes.
- Helped bring Connell Co-op College to the Etihad Campus, providing education for local young people.
-Contributed £3m towards public swimming facilities at East Manchester Leisure Centre.
Helped create the Beswick Hub, bringing together sport, education, health and community facilities.
- Supported the Manchester Institute of Health & Performance, providing health and sports-science services beyond professional football.
-Invested in the expansion of the Etihad Stadium and continued development of the surrounding campus.
- Invested alongside partners in Co-op Live, creating a major new 23,500-capacity entertainment arena in East Manchester.
Continued investing in the wider Etihad Stadium expansion and entertainment district, representing hundreds of millions in additional investment.
-Supported City in the Community programmes helping thousands of Manchester residents through football, education, health and employability initiatives.
-Funded community football and multi-sport pitch improvements across Greater Manchester.
-Provided free football opportunities for young people through City Kicks.
-Supported programmes helping young people at risk of serious youth violence.
Supported young patients and families at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
-Created education and employability opportunities for young people through City in the Community.
-Used the Etihad Campus during COVID-19 to support NHS workers, nursing training, testing and vaccination efforts.
-Worked with Manchester City Council on employment initiatives, including jobs fairs connecting local people with employers.
Supported elite and community sport by making facilities available to athletes and sporting organisations.
-Invested in environmental improvements, biodiversity and green-space projects around the Etihad Campus.
-Donated surplus equipment and furniture from the club to community organisations in Manchester.
-And perhaps one of the most symbolic acts: Sheikh Mansour bought the 1904 FA Cup — Manchester City’s first FA Cup and the oldest surviving FA Cup trophy — at auction and arranged for it to remain on display at the National Football Museum in Manchester.
The overall result has been a transformation of the Etihad area into a major hub combining football, education, health, entertainment, employment and community facilities.
The entitlement of city fans it’s actually off the scale…
You cheated. On a monumental level!
Take your huge slice of humble pie and prepare yourself for what’s next.
There are NO excuses for what you did, over and over again. None.
All of a sudden we’re supposed to feel worry for them and act like they’re leading the charge for “normal clubs”… when the reality is, they’re the opposite.

Dear diary
Yesterday was a big day for me as I’ve been advising Manchester City with their finances for a while, and they’ve had the auditors in.
I think it’s gone well.
In the midst of all this noise… Let’s remember the fun we had beating the “Champions” even though they were cheating… #WWFC

I don’t want to hear Pep Guardiola mentioned in any debates ever again
I don’t want to hear De Bruyne, Kompany, David Silva, Haaland etc in any debates for best midfielder, best 11s, best forwards
I don’t want to hear Manchester City ever mentioned in debates again around best team, 100 points, trebles etc.
It all means nothing because they cheated their way to all of it.
It’s easy to be the best coach when your club cook the books and spend the most, it’s easy to be the best midfielder when you’re surrounded by the worlds best players that you illegally paid for, it’s easy to win those trophies when you’re not playing by everybody else’s rules.
