There are only 2 options, both terrifying for wananchi:
- NIS/DCI abducted a lawyer and refuses to release him.
- NIS/DCI is unable to catch a group of highly equipped thieves abducting a lawyer in the middle of Kilimani, 5 days on. And we can be concerned for security in Nairobi
Wakili, what evidence do you have that NIS was involved?
Can the court really compel someone to produce something they don't have?
If truly Wakili Abshir was arrested and held at a gazetted police station, then you can ask the right questions.
Who arrested them? Under whose authority? Where were they booked? Who authorised their detention? What do the official custody records show?
Its the ATPU and DCI to provide answers not NIS.
We cannot drag NIS into something they know nothing about.
Accountability must be based on evidence, not political convenience.

Several people, including Kariobangi Sharks players Eustas Chesara and Patillah Omoto, were arrested by police earlier this morning in connection with the assault of referee John Sulwe during the club's playoff second-leg clash against Mombasa United.
The two players were picked up while attending the team's training session.
Football Kenya Federation is understood to have initiated the process leading to the arrests.
