Every cent, and I mean every cent, being spent on Iowa's disastrous private school voucher program should be redirected into our public school system.
Public dollars should go to public schools, period.
My opponent, Eddie Andrews, voted for an extreme 6 week abortion ban.
Brenna Bird temporarily halted funding for emergency contraceptives for victims of sexual assault.
Property shouldn't have more rights than women in Iowa.
Kim Reynolds is potentially foregoing millions of dollars in food aid for kids because.... the kids are too fat.
I wish this was a joke, but that was her cited reason.

Teachers face daily attacks from Republican legislators in Iowa who consider them to be "sinister", budget cuts and an increasingly dangerous work environment.
All the while, if they try to strike, they face fines and criminal penalties.
This is unsustainable.

My opponent voted to force minors to carry their rapist's baby after 6 weeks.
I wish this was just an inflammatory statement, but this is our reality under Iowa's GOP trifecta.
The ONLY way to reverse this book ban is to oust every Republican who supported it, including my opponent.
