Heading into the merge, be aware of how market dynamics will shift in the ETHBTC pair as it relates to derivs. Variables for BTC miners (energy cost, hashrate, btc price) are all aggressively bad rn, which forces not only spot puking but consistent near dated call overwriting

It’s worth noting that institutional participation in crypto derivatives (options/vol trading) is trending higher/replacing some percentage of spot activity. In an already light market, this can mean prices get collared by delta neutral vol dealers until an outside force enters
