Awesome addition, hopefully we get some statues in the mix by the time the continental coliseum gets finished!
The 2025 Larry O’Brien Trophy spent much of last season running around town. But I can now share that the Thunder have created a home for Oklahoma City’s 2025 NBA Championship Trophy. The Trophy and its new home will debut at tonight’s home opener on the 100 level of the arena concourse.
The newly-created display is pictured below.
This will be the Trophy’s home until the opening of Continental Coliseum in two years. You can view the Trophy at all Thunder home games (so don’t worry if there’s a line tonight).
Thunder Up!
FAs available:
Russell Westbrook: UFA, Ex-King

Here’s a graphic of the roster my Thunder friends! ⚡️

Looking at the Jazz roster, they could use a legit on-ball defender. If they’re serious about transitioning into a winning basketball team, Lu Dort should be at the top of their list.
Although, I’m not so sure how much Presti would want to keep Dort in the Western Conference.
- 8 playoff appearances (Jazz, Nets, Suns)
- Career 38.9% three-point shooter
- 6’6 small forward
- Played 75/82 regular season games in ‘24 and 78/82 in ‘25
If the Hornets are looking to reroute Royce, I wouldn’t hate him as another tool in the toolbox for OKC off the bench.
Thunder Summer League Roster Building:
Thomas Sorber (Won’t play)
Nikola Topic (Won’t play)
Aday Mara
Bennett Stirtz
Otega Oweh
Josh Dix
Payton Sandfort
Bryce Harris
Elijah Mahi
Christoph Tilly
Nate Johnson
Lamar Wilkerson
Sam Alexis
+ Probably some Blue guys
With 10.8M in room to spare before dipping into the second apron, I’d assume Dort is gone in a trade and Kenrich Williams is re-signed to a new contract that is a vet minimum/team-friendly deal.
Any combination of Burries/Morez/Swain/Stirtz/Ejiofor/Karaban and I am one happy Thunder fan tonight! ⚡️
And for my own sanity, please no Nate Ament. 🙏
Chance of being retained this offseason as a %:
Ajay Mitchell: 98%
Chet Holmgren: 95%
Cason Wallace: 95%
Nikola Topic: 88%
Kenrich Williams: 85%
Isaiah Hartenstein: 70%
Isaiah Joe: 55%
Lu Dort: 35%
Aaron Wiggins: 10%
I feel like a player that’s not getting talked about enough as a target for Oklahoma City is Jaylen Brown. The Thunder have multiple players that could make the Celtics interested in a potential trade.
This would be the nucleus of the trade + picks obviously.
It wasn’t Scott Foster, and wasn’t some phenomenal performance from the Spurs.
You can blame it on the lack of offensive creation combined with non-existent three-point shooting all night — 18.2% as a team.
Missing two of your best offensive creators doesn’t help.
Missing two key players and Mark is trying to find stuff that works. Ending that quarter down 9 is a win in my book—especially shooting 1/5 from three as a team. One quarter doesn’t decide a game.
Will be interesting to see if Kenrich or Wiggins can provide anything
