with a 24 team playoff on the horizon which will essentially guarantee 1 G6 school admission - it would be wise for the G6 to form a 6 team playoff for that final spot imo.

it will never happen but if I were a school like Marshall - middling in the doldrums of FBS football - chasing that neon power conference rainbow of an invite that's never going to come - ALL my money would be going towards mens and women's hoop.
JMU moving up to American! Feels a lot like when Marshall moved "up" to CUSA and the conference soon became a shell of itself - eventually losing top schools like Cincinnati, Louisville, and TCU before the Herd even got there.
