Ever wondered what it takes to create a #Starship launch animation from Pad 39A?
Over 2 years of:
modeling, simulating large-scale smoke plumes, compositing, refining, and solving complex software and hardware challenges behind every frame.
Deconstructed layer by layer in a full VFX breakdown of the #Starship launch animation.

There’s a lot of talk in this community...
Here’s the difference: I actually build.
- WIP PREVIEW! -
Of my Pad39A Starship launch animation 🚀
Still refining (smoke, lighting, compositing) — and the final version will include sound effects and music to bring it fully to life.

Thats insane!
I wonder how many decibels are this..
Starship Flight 14 launch and orbit was a success, but what did the launch sound and feel like form Port Isabel, about 5 miles away?
Here is a visual & audio experience almost as good as being there! If you haven't been to a Starship launch, you really need to plan a trip! @esherifftv
Sound UP!
Thats insanely cool!!!!
STARSHIP FLIGHT 14 TRANSITS THE SUN!!!
Look at those shockwaves!

Just hours away.
Starship’s 14th flight is set to launch on Monday, Sept 28. The 75-minute launch window opens at 7:15 a.m. CT. Live coverage of the mission starts ~35 minutes before launch → nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qxvvenMP…
AI has gotten so good at 3D that it can now handle things like:
• Camera tracking
• Compositing
• 3D modeling
• Detecting and fixing issues when something is off
I’ve genuinely never seen anything like this before.
So I did a small VFX test:
I had the AI model a space elevator, gave Opus 5.5 the video I recorded, and basically just let it cook.
And the result is kind of insane.
People can laugh at AI in 3D now, but if this keeps accelerating, the next few years could be a serious wake-up call for parts of the VFX and 3D industry.
