If you could go back in time and save one musician we lost too soon, who would you save?

Let's take it to the next level: to limit travel and time zone hopping divide things up into four geographically-aligned independent leagues with no interleague play until the postseason. Start with 8-team leagues and eventually expand to 12 or 14.
My 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 proposal to improve the fairness of MLB. Not only is it much fairer, it increases the importance of every game and actually rewards the best teams. Logistics and broadcasting can be worked through with smart scheduling.

In other words, let's dramatically exacerbate the affordability crisis by transitioning the costs of all kinds of services from relatively well-off older people to young folks with families.
UNPOPULAR OPINION: Property taxes should be like sales tax. When your home is paid off it should end there. You shouldn’t have to pay taxes ever again.

It's funny the owners of the 1920s-30s wanted to own all the minor league players, to the point that they made the minors absolutely subservient. When some franchises were worth <$1M. Today with franchises over $1B the take is "costs too much, can we get rid of all this?"
"These proposals that owners are making, it's almost as if they're operating like the sport is broke." @Ken_Rosenthal argues against MLB's latest amateur player entry proposition...

Here’s a little US Soccer history for you guys. Between 1921 and 1934, the United States had the 3rd biggest soccer league in the world behind the English 1st division, and the Scottish 1st division. The league was primarily played in the northeast and featured teams like the Bethlehem Steel, Bohemian Queens, Boston Soccer Club, and it was insanely popular and at the time was the most popular sport in the northeast. It attracted some of the biggest names in the sport for the time, as well as immigrants, and first generation kids. But because of the great depression, obviously folks couldn’t afford to feed themselves or their families, let alone attend games. The league folded, and soccer barely survived in the passing decades. #USSoccer

Except nobody is building affordable housing in remote rural areas without jobs. Your ridge will be sold to mining, drilling , fracking, ranching, or similar corporations for exploitation and their financial gain, while cutting off public access.
Whenever I hike this ridge, I think to myself: “This would be so much better if it was covered in affordable housing.” Thank you @BasedMikeLee.

MLS has done some underhanded, stupid things over the years, but this near the top of the pile.
Well, Lamar Hunt should be rolling in his grave...and every other American soccer leader who has worked to grow the game & this great tournament. Fans can help stop this w/their wallet. Boycott MLS until they return to the best and oldest tournament in American soccer. RT please.

Okay, now I get it. I'll just stop now, there's no arguing with that perspective. And I don't really have a schoolyard insult that matches up with anal...ytics. In any case, I'll be very happy when Hyde wins Manager of the Year. Rarely has a case been so cut-and-dried.
He relies on it way to much. You can see the game on the field better than reading numbers. There is such a thing as the eye test amd the game was long before some college student came up with Anal...ytics Did you not see Hyde getting out managed in playoffs

When you take your four-year-old to the 2012 playoffs for the first postseason game at Camden Yards in 15 years you have to take a photo in front of Brooksie's statue. Brooks Robinson is Baltimore.
