Only 0.8% of the products overlapped.
Check your bestsellers in both. Ranking in Shopping tells you almost nothing about AI Mode.
RFC 10008 made `QUERY` official in June. The GraphQL-over-HTTP proposal is open now.
A safe, idempotent request with a body is a very good fit for GraphQL.
Adoption will probably begin with a long list of proxies and CDNs that need teaching.
The HTTP `QUERY` verb is coming to GraphQL.
QUERY is like post but for idempotent, cacheable requests. It's a perfect match!

Tie an idempotency key to the request body.
Store:
key + requestHash + response
If the same key arrives with a different payload, return a conflict. Replaying the old response can confirm an operation the server never performed.
Useful GraphQL load-test assertion:
resolverCalls <= expectedResolvers
Response-time tests can pass while one new field quietly adds 50 database queries. Counting resolver calls makes the regression fail in CI.
Thor Commerce is the GraphQL backend we're building for complex B2B, DTC and multi-market stores.
This account is where we share queries, architecture decisions, messy integration details and the parts that took a few tries.
Protein coffee sales rose 507% over the past year while traditional protein shakes fell 40%
That is quite a swing for one year. Beverage buyers must be rewriting a few forecasts.
Commerce complexity tends to show up one piece at a time.
Pricing logic leaks into the frontend. Inventory rules fork by channel. Promotions start behaving differently at checkout.
None of those workarounds looks expensive on its own. Keeping them consistent is.
