$2.59 trillion will be spent on AI in 2026.
45%+ goes to infrastructure.
Most of it centralized. Locked behind a handful of hyperscalers.
@ionet CEO @Gaurav_ionet breaks down why that's a problem, and what decentralization actually fixes.

Four companies control 90% of accessible AI compute.
@nvidia makes the chips. @Microsoft , @awscloud , @googlecloud buy most before they hit market.
Everyone else fights over what's left. At 3-5x markup.
Run 4x H100 for a month.
Big Cloud: $8,899
@ionet: $4,291 $55K/year back.
Not a conspiracy. A queue. That you're paying to be in.
There's a better way.

Sources tell @CBSSports that Georgia Tech is among the early teams to watch with Alberto Mendoza, who is entering the portal after serving as his brother Fernando’s backup at QB for Indiana this season
Indiana QB Alberto Mendoza is entering the transfer portal, sources tell me and @chris_hummer.
Mendoza, the younger brother of Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza, was IU’s backup QB this year. In limited action, was 18 of 24 for 286 yards with five TD passes. Also ran for 190 yards

BREAKING: @RenderNetwork just enabled the impossible
Artist @MhxAlt completed a massive immersive project in 1 WEEK, instead of 2 YEARS on a local machine.
That’s 26 months of rendering compressed into 7 days.
This is why decentralized GPU power matters:
- Unlocks previously impossible creative projects
- Powers the spatial computing revolution (Vision Pro, VR, AR)
- $RENDER is becoming the backbone for next-gen 3D creation
Render Network is doing for graphics what cloud did for data.
Are you paying attention to $RENDER yet?
20k rendering in a week instead of 2 years!
Artist @MhxAlt breaks down the inspirations, techniques, and hidden layers behind his immersive work - and why creating for a spatial world demands a whole new artistic language.

Some interesting insights were provided by @JulesUrbach:
⭕️ Advanced Audio and Video Tools at Launch
Jules revealed that approximately 800 models will be available at the launch, including numerous audio generation and video tools readily accessible from the main menu. He highlighted the integration of a sophisticated canvas workflow, with a nodal user experience that begins with a curated selection of 40 top-performing models. This will allow for merging render and neural models seamlessly, offering unique production workflows.
⭕️ Versatility of Otoy.ai
Otoy.ai will feature an array of workflows and artist modules designed to enhance content creation. With tools like the canvas graph editor and 3DGS video editor, artists can engage in key workflows entirely within a browser environment. This setup supports full 3D applications, enabling artists to integrate different render jobs effortlessly. In a previous message on 06.11.25, Jules mentioned leaning toward a future where artists would adore these advancements.
⭕️ Integration and Reliance on the @rendernetwork
In a detailed response, Jules noted that Otoy.ai will not exclusively rely on the @rendernetwork but will synergize with it for running HD and 4K video models on consumer GPUs. Artists can opt for Render credits to access additional models via API, such as Google veo and OpenAI sora, although this may incur a premium cost. While these platforms offer robust audio generation, Jules pointed out the necessity of maintaining certain Render Network-exclusive features due to critical video-to-video functionalities only possible within this system.
This vision seems consistent with earlier discussions, as Jules previously explained the idea of premium tier systems like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure for tasks demanding extra resources, highlighting Render Network's cost-effectiveness and security even for demanding clients like movie studios (reflecting sentiments from earlier posts).

xitter.cf/EMostaque/status/19838… So excited by @Emostaque's brilliant vision for the future of AI. We spent the other togther day brainstorming the holodeck roadmap. World Models are going to go from struggling to run on a single B200 GPU today to full RT (w/ DLSS etc) on consumer GPUs over the coming 1-3 years (depending on complexity/visual context depth). Back about 3+ years ago when I was first showing off Neural Rendering in Octane (mostly NeRF driven then), the concept of world models seemed less probable. But the sophisitication of current frontier video models shows that the quality of generated worlds for offline rendering has already achieved parity with the equivalent traditional CG rendering apprach. With real time models evolving out of Emad's first release of stream diffusion, and our own real time neural actor rendering models that can run on consumer GPUs - to Genie 3 showing cloud GPU real time world models matching offline models, we can see that real time world models at peak fidelity that run on our DePin GPUs are just a matter of the GPU hardware cost/token becoming cheaper. This is likely to continue at an order of magniute step every half-decade (not accounting for specialized hardware). The goal of render is to lay down the base layer of this infra for this today, paired with the tools artists, creators and designers of tomorrow are migrating to as rendering evolves from raytraced screen pixels to neural rendered 8D splatted/holograhic primitives (see my first slide in every talk I have given). A 5090 today generates near frontier quality offline video at 1080p from frame by frame input - that same hardware that can also stream fast real time path traced rendered scenes with neural post processing at that resolution (thanks to NRC, DLSS and other neural speed ups). These real time streams can also contain GS4D scene data cached by offline generations. The convergence of these two rendering techniques on consumer GPUs already powering RN is a key short term path to the holodeck content pipeline, while neural rendering efficiencies coming in future GPU/TPU/Asic hardware generations and new, better optimized world models will combine the best of both approaches as we approach 2030.“
